Eighth place is an improvement on the last tournament but not where I'd like to be obviously. Let's see if I have better luck this week: maybe if the scorer wins for the second week in a row more people will want to be the scorer - or the one that starts the bonfire to roast VG and I.
Any who, the Tour moves on to Thailand this week. Your top twelve and up to three alternates needs to be in place no later than Thursday 25 February at 0000GMT (Wednesday 24 February at 7pmEST/4pmPST). Good luck!

First tee time Thursday is 9:49am local so the deadline has been moved back 2 and a half hours as a result. Also of note is that because of her win last week Haru Nomura is in the field so if you want to include her you now have a little extra time to mull it over.
As for me I predict a different kind of breakthrough this week:1. Phatlum, Pornanong 2. Jang, Ha Na 3. Park, Inbee 4. Tseng, Yani 5. Feng, Shanshan 6. Kim, Sei Young 7. Kim, Hyo Joo 8. Chun, In Gee 9. Jutanugarn, Ariya 10. Thompson, Lexi 11. Webb, Karrie 12. Lee, Bo Mee
Alternates:
Lewis, Stacy Korda, Jessica Pettersen, Suzann Kevin

I got home each morning in time to watch at least the last couple hours or so of each round and so I compiled the scoring for each. I'm only posting the final results partly to save time and also because just as Lexi went nearly wire to wire for her win shung led at every interval and took us all to school. The difference maker for him turned out to be Jessica Korda as he alone selected her. Three other contestants trailed him with five scoring selections apiece: although the Saint was alone in picking Xi Yu Lin and joined your thoroughly humbled scorer in tabbing Pornanong Phatlum they did not make up for him being the solitary PakPicker who passed on Lexi and so he misses the podium.
Baggerbob's nom de guerre is especially apt as with just two scoring selections Bob is consigned to a corner with a paper bag over his head holding this week's wooden spoon.Position. Player Score (# of scoring selections)
1. shung 62.25 (6) 2. Verdant Garden 52.50 (5) 3. GD Smyth 51.00 (5) 4. Saint-Just X 49.50 (5) 5. canlinny 43.00 (4) 6. olamin 42.50 (4) -- Schoolteacher Cindy 42.50 (4) 8. Golfing Grammy 42.00 (4) 9. dennis 41.50 (4) 10. tonyj5 39.50 (4)
11. tatkins 37.75 (3) 12. ghinhee 36.50 (4) 13. centurion 34.50 (3) 14. cannuck 30.00 (3) 15. IceCat 29.75 (4) 16. baggerbob 28.25 (2) After backing up a win with a runner up finish the Verdant One takes over the scoring this coming week as the Tour moves to Singapore, one hour ahead of Thailand. Unless the Committee is able to locate a third scorer my next turn on the calculator will be when the Tour returns to North America for the Founders Cup in Phoenix.Kevin
