Something is different about Sei Young this year, she played all her 5 rounds under par. LPGA better watches out, if Sei Young starts to eliminate her bad rounds all together. Bada*s is a little loose with her driver...I saw this at the CP CWO....so this will keep her at times from winning. Still shocked she's playing the SLDR......a very unforgiving driver. Have you tried out the SLDR?.....my friend has one so I've hit it a few times...definitely you need to loft it up. I tried the M1 in a simulator...it's pretty good and forgiving...the stock Kuro Kage shaft is pretty nice.

It's sad too see GIMME and Tutta yapping walking down the fairway....do you think Mannika would be sharing pancake recipes with Pat Bradley if they were paired together.

LPGA is bush league...Dumbo is teeing off early in the morning...so we won't be able to see her shoot 64 tomorrow......very very lame.....so over 2 day we see her for a total of 1 minute. Golf Channel will start broadcast tomorrow at 11:00 AM. In Gee starts at 8:20 AM, she should be around 10th hole when the broadcast begins. If In Gee continues to play well, the challenge is for GC to send a camera over earlier rather than later.

I hope SYR gets the same results as Spieth from the new instructor. Just hope she doesn't end up with the same ugly swing.

Nice round by Ha Na Jang.. -7 it will be hard to beat. Not so auspicious 2nd tournament after return to LPGA by Vicky Hurst... +8 79. Blooper Is your avatar....HYP? Yup. I'm a old member who used to post to the old board... just rejoined the new board. Hee Young is still my fave. The picture in my avatar is an old picture when she was sponsored by Hana Bank but still my favorite picture of her. Hulk smashing a shot at Coates today:

Yup. I'm a old member who used to post to the old board... just rejoined the new board. Hee Young is still my fave. The picture in my avatar is an old picture when she was sponsored by Hana Bank but still my favorite picture of her. The Rocket is so adorable. I started to fanboy her starting in 2013 at the Safeway. I was unsure who I was going to watch...so I was roaming around the driving range. As HYP finished her practice session she walked by the ropes and looked over at the Smiling Buddha and smiled....he was sold and watched her play for 5 holes. Although I was so amp'd when HYP won in 2012 in Waterloo. I generally never follow one specific pro for more that 4-5 holes tops. But....I'm going to try to snag a HYP cap in Seattle....hopefully I'll get one via Kylie if she watching outside the ropes.

Umm, no: the guys get underway in Scottsdale Thursday and TGC will be live with them at 2pmEST. They normally have McCord positioned with the crazies at 16 but since CBS is covering the Stupid Super Bowl NBC has the weekend, so look for them to put Feherty in the coliseum. The ladies have the 11-2 slot Thursday but the third round Friday will be on tape delay at 8pm unless you can stream Golf Live or JTBC Golf.

Any idea who makes the featured pairings?
They really air-balled the Allison v Snoozy Solheim garbage. Can't believe we had to watch Sulky P golf instead of fun player because they thought that would get ratings and clicks on golf channel.com.

All in all, a pretty nice start to her LPGA career for In Gee Chun!! 13/14 fairways hit, 15 greens in regulation, 30 putts, no bogies, 68. Nice job! Keep hwaiting, Dumbo!! (she is currently the third most searched sports topic on the site I visit, well ahead of anyone else in the field). Ha Na had a great round in the morning, 65, to take a three shot lead. And with Sei Young shooting a 68 herself, that makes three of the potential Korean Olympians in the hunt after day one. Awesome sauce! Further down the leaderboard, Amy Yang had a nice 70, Julie Yang and Hyo Joo a 71, and nice job by Annie Park to shoot a 72, a huge improvement over her windblown debut. So Yeon, Na Yeon and HYP all also shot even par. Not a bad start, but they need to pick up the pace tomorrow! Sisters Hwaiting!

NYC...looks like Meaghan Francella has her bag (says MF on yardage book cover) ************ From Larry the Looper: This course has eight replica holes patterned after famous ones around the world such as the Postage Stamp from Royal Troon and the 12th at Augusta. Another is the Road Hole from St. Andrews and just as over there, no relief is offered if you airmail the green and wind up on the road. It is an integral part of the course and you play it as it lies. Unfortunately for Min Seo Kwak, she failed to wait for her caddie to check the rule sheet and lifted her ball. Add two.

The reality sets in for In Gee as she bogied #8 to go -3; she hasn't made any birdies today.

It happened to In Gee in both KLPGA and JLPGA late last year, she got stuck and couldn't make any birdies for a long stretch of holes.
