Congratulations: Hye Jung Park for her win. In Gee for her accomplishments. Ji Young Park for ROY.
It's been a great year for the KLPGA. Even after the loss of some of it's top players.

The Koreans need to get better trophies....this one looks like a trophy one would win at a grade 6 swim meet. Congrats to HJP!!!

I believe this was Hye Jung Choi's 3rd win, not her first. She also won the 2007 Hite Cup and 2011 KLPGA Championship.

I believe this was Hye Jung Choi's 3rd win, not her first. She also won the 2007 Hite Cup and 2011 KLPGA Championship. Re-read my third round post! Those wins were made by Hye Jung Choi; this is a different player with the same name, hence "Hye Jung Choi 2". (And it is Hye Jung Choi, not Hye Jung Park, by the way!) Interestingly, she is also a rookie. But she's in her early twenties and has been a pro since 2009, so I assumed she had been on tour all this time. No, she has been on the developmental tours until this year, and had not had a KLPGA top ten until early in October. Easily the most surprising win of the year!

My mistake about Hye Jung Choi's name. Didn't recheck, but you know who I meant.

My mistake about Hye Jung Choi's name. Didn't recheck, but you know who I meant. Sure, no offense meant! I just wanted to mention it for those reading the thread who might not have been sure!

This highlight package (in Korean) focuses on In Gee Chun, perhaps the most celebrated 56th place finish in tour history (check out her fan club cheering her on!). Of course, they are there to witness her clinching all the tour's post season awards, which is why she is interviewed. Also, here's a chance to see the Cinderella of 2015, Hye Jung Choi 2, in action.

Again...we gotta figure how to get some of those all yellow Flying Dumbo hats.
All I can say....if In Gee had 50 Flying Dumbo fans all decked out with posters too....it wouldn't look out of place if a LPGA event was held in LA and certainly here in Van City. There's quite a few Dumbo fans on WRX....NYC and Bada*ss fans too.
It was great at the 2012 CN CWO....as Yani was walking up from the driving range to tee off on #10....there were 50 Taiwanese fans yelling, cheering and waving Taiwan flags too....it was great watching them along with other Yani fans following her around the course. There was unfortunately no Yani fanfare at this years CP CWO.
