Two of the three top players in the world are injured. Not good news at all. It's been a long season. It's taking its toll.

Two of the three top players in the world are injured. Not good news at all. I notice Dumbo has become a fan favorite both in here and WRX. But top 3 player in the world ?? I am not sure she is top 3 among Koreans. Other than her USWO win, her results in other LPGA events are largely forgettable. I am sure she will get better as she moves full time to the tour next year. But as of now, her RR is just about right, if not a little generous.

Yup...everyone luvs Dumbo....but until she has 2-3 years of multiple success....she can't be labeled with greatness yet.
We need to get a North American chapter of Dumbo's fan club....but I have no idea how to initiate the partnership with her main fan club in Korea.

I suggest we all plan to get together at the Lotte in Hawaii April 2016. We'll figure it out there.

The first order of business for the North American Chapter of the Dumbo Fan Club is to send a barrage of e-mails to the LPGA to find out why her picture is missing from the 2015 tournament winners board (http://www.lpga.com/tournaments). Every winner this year has a photo posted except In Gee. Grrrr.
Also, the NYC Fan Club has to ask them to replace the out of date pic of Na Yeon. Sheesh. That pic is ancient.

I'll borrow the old line. People would rather see IGC change shoes in the parking lot than watch everyone else play golf. She is the future of golf.

I think her world ranking is probably about right. although that's more a factor of what events she has played and won than how I think she stacks up against the other top players.
I'm not sure how great she can be, but I do know that only Jiyai Shin has come off the KLPGA with a more impressive season than the one In Gee is compiling, and Shin reached the world #1 spot about a year and a half after joining the LPGA. So there is reason to be optimistic about In Gee's chances! (Shin was about In Gee's age, too).
