mr3putt: What, no mention of the Canadian Princess' hand maiden, Brittany Henderson?! Here's the good news: the LPGA says anyone who completes four rounds during any stage of qualifying will be granted automatic status on the Symetra Tour in 2016! Woo Hoo! Yippee!I'd like to see Joanna Coe advance from Stage II...it's rare to see any Jerseyites make it to the LPGA tour. It's a shame one of my all-time favorites, Kim Kim, bombed out of Stage One with a 303...she needs to find a rich husband who will subsidize her golf...guys, I watched her a couple of times in 2009 and can recommend her as a good catch! Another one of my faves is/was Mindy Kim...she did not play in Stage One and she is not entered in Stage Two. I don't if her past status will allow her to enter Stage Three. Her career has completely cratered...played 20 Symetra events this year and made less than $16K. What happened? mr3putt, got any scouting reports on the Habs? There's one from Kelowna, BC, Megan Osland. I watched Christina Foster on the range at the 2015 USWO, a tall lefty. Melissa Mabanta flopped during Stage One (311)...I assume her spot in the 2016 Seaview Pines course Pro-Am is still secure.

Never heard of Megan other than Larry the Looper is toting her bag...obviously she's not Korean. Unless one plays for the Nat'l or Developmental team....there's not much chance one would make it to the LPGA.
I met Melissa 3 years ago while practicing...IMO....a Filipino Danielle Kang. I saw her playing the CP CWO Mon qualifier....I spoke with her mom and pregnant older sister (expecting their 1st child)....sis use too play at UNLV too. Melissa knows a lot of BB gals....Melissa's dad was successful in the finance industry.

Larry has Megan's name linked to her San Jose St. golf stats...she just completed four years there, averaged 73.52 as a senior. He also mentioned Gloria Park and Yu Ping Lin being there. We know Gloria is coaching China's golf team...maybe The Pinger has a similar position in Taiwan.

mr3putt: What, no mention of the Canadian Princess' hand maiden, Brittany Henderson?! Alas, Brittany Henderson has withdrawn from the qualifying tournament. Perhaps she is facing reality and will caddie for her sister next year?

The top-80 plus ties advance to Stage 3. The '88' Rule was in place for Stage 1 only. Sehee Son shot 88...is this the same person as Saehee Son, who played the LPGA tour 8-10 years ago? Saehee would WD every other week back then. Shannon Fish would be a pleasant addition to the LPGA scenery next year...opened with 75. She's one of the Shop-Rite pro-am regulars. Victoria Tanco shot 83...she was a big up-and-comer when I saw her at the 2009 US Girls Junior...what happened? Lauren Doughtie shot 71...at the 2013 Shop-Rite I watched her last 12 holes of Round One where she shot 87 (played with C. Kim and Thidapa S.).

I like Welch also, but at age 31 I think her time has come and gone. She did have an opening round 73 today which has her on pretty good shape. Did realize Kim is that old...but The Smiling Buddha should hush up...he's no spring chicken.

I may have said this before....Q-school is a cash cow for the LPGA. They really should limit the # of entrants to minimize so many pipe dreams.

Great recovery by Joanna Coe (81-71), which barely puts her into the top-80 at T-74...Shannon Fish and Emily Tubert are also T-74. Victoria Tanco keeps tanking (83-84). I have a signed Pro V1 from Elisa Serramia, which she gave me at a 2012 USWO qualifier...I think it's the pro-am circuit for her now (79-79). K. Ekey (73-86), WTH? A couple of Euros who made noise at the WBO and Evian are in good position, Amy Boulden (T-34) and Nicole Broch Larsen (T-58). Two Koreans have the worst scores...at this rate, they'll never get past customs at Incheon Airport.

Two Koreans have the worst scores...at this rate, they'll never get past customs at Incheon Airport. Do not past GO. Do not collect $200. Go directly to NORTH KOREA.

Congrats to the top 80 who advanced....the only prediction I'll make from this group is that Megan Khang gets her LPGA exempt card at final stage Q School.
