Yeah, I'm afraid most of the sisters will continue to fly under the radar in Merica. There would have to be some controversy to get a buzz going, no Hite pun intended.

Many people don't seem to realize that Mi Hyun Kim was also a big influence for Korean Golf. Like I said once before, if Se Ri is Queen, then Mi Hyun should be Princess. Hee Won Hon who I believe came over a year after Mi Hyun was also successful. |

I know NYC has a Korean fan club and some other KLPGA pros have fan clubs too...but is there any fan club more visible than the Flying Dumbo's.
We should get some Flying Dumbo posters ready for Seattle next June.
Maybe Tom Abbott can interview you so you can promote this site.....I think fourwaymiss can arrange the interview.

I like the pairing of Michelle Wei, Lexi Thompson and Sung Hyun Park. Should be bombs away with that group. But they also need to be accurate. I had to Google SHP...I first thought....huh....an Olympic gold medal archer is in a feature group....hmmmmm....The Smiling Buddha is fooled easily. SYF...I assumed The Pink Diva ruined the pairing of SYR and Inbee for you. I like the Dumbo, Ko & Alison group. I'm glad this event will be prime time here. |

SNAP (Stacy not as Pouty) is skipping this event....rumors are that 3 shifty looking Asians were seen planting rocks in front of the 18th green at Sky 72....all the security staff at the club were working the President Cup event.

This would properly belong in the K-pop thread except that they performed at the formal gala in Seoul for this week's Tour event. You'll notice that there appear to be just eight members of EXO now: Lay along with former member Luhan have been cast in a forthcoming Jackie Chan film and they may already be in front of the cameras.

If not....then maybe I can convince HappyFan or Verdantgarden to do so.....no point in The Smiling Buddha taking all the fanfare at an event. |

In my books, the Koreans have not be shut out of the last 5 events....I think Ko is a Korean too....she was also born in Seoul too. In fact...all the other 'fake' Koreans count as Korean wins inside the world of The Smiling Buddha. If The Smiling Buddha was standing in a mall in Denver and if 10 random shoppers were to guess his nationality based on: 1) American 2) Italian 3) Chinese 4) Canadian 5) Korean I highly doubt anyone would pick 4)...or even 1) or 2). Let's not forget some wise words from BJ Wie......"The only thing American about Michelle is her passport." |

But Alison Lee stole the show   So Yeon Ryu  Shi Hyun Ahn  Welcome back NYC!  Michelle Wie  Jessica Korda: you could store Mi Hyun Kim in that purse!  KLPGA Stars: Jung Min Lee, Hyo Joo Kim, Yoon Ji Cho and Jung Eun Lee 5  Juli Inkster  Some of the other Asian stars: The Sisters Jutanugarn, Xi Yu Lin and Pornanong Phatlum  Holy Crap! Ahn Sung Ki was there! This guy is like the Robert De Niro of Korea. Totally awesome! (No joke, I've probably seen a dozen of this guy's movies, and he's always amazing!
