Hee Kyung Bae dropped out and must have been picked as the 120th player for the JWO. Shin Ae Ahn was definitely in the field a few days, but has also dropped out. A twitter pic shows her in Singapore today...maybe she plans to play in Malaysia next week; the field for the Sime Darby hasn't been posted yet.

Gotta luv how some of the pros would rather chase the all mighty Yen than honor THE QUEEN and play in her event. Se Ri might as well invite some Symetra tour and screen golf pros to round out the field. I wonder if there would be a flock of PGA pros bailing on Bay Hill and Muirfield Village to chase a Euro tour event with more bucks.

I love how the logo for the event is a stylization of Se Ri hitting out of the water at Blackwolf Run (see it behind Jin Young in this pic?) As for so many pros skipping this event... Well, it is an Invitational. Maybe they weren't invited?

They don't have to chase money. One PGA Pro made over one thousand dollars after withdrawing from the last tournament. They win one tournament and make more than top twenty LPGA members.

Tourney poster They're playing at Solmoro CC in the middle of nowhere. I find it interesting that this place is a couple of miles away from the Blackstone Resort, which was used by PGA European tour a few years ago...it was on Lee Westwood's itinerary during one of his Asian slum runs. I wouldn't know if Blackstone is better or worse than Solmoro.

Funny, I assumed Pak would play in her own tournament, until I checked the leaderboard and couldn't find her name...she really is finished.
Way to go Hye Youn Kim, just one shot out of the lead.

Round 2: Hae Rim Kim Takes Lead
Several players near the top of the leaderboard had good rounds on day 2. Hae Rim Kim cashed her 5 under 67 in to the tune of a one shot lead at 7 under total. But don't look now, because in second place is Sung Hyun Park. Park has already won twice this season, including the Korean Women's Open, and after a 67 herself, sits in solo second. Among those tied for third, two back, are Yoon Ji Cho, who is in the top five on the money list, defending champ Min Young Lee, and longtime veteran Shi Hyun Ahn. Round 3: Sung Hyun Park Claims Third Win of 2015
After setting herself up for the win in round 2, on Sunday Sung Hyun Park, the longest hitter on the KLPGA tour in 2015, made three birdies on the front nine to prepare what looked to be an easy march to her third career win. The back nine proved more adventurous, but even three bogies there were offset by four birdies as she shot a 68 to claim a one shot win.
Hae Rim Kim, the second round leader, looked like an alsoran by the turn, but when Park ran into trouble, she moved up to 9 under, two shots back. Eventually Park bogied the final hole to just hold her and Ji Hyun Kim off.

Yoon Ji Cho, one of the top players on the money list, made a good run with a 69, finishing tied for 4th at 8 under. Another top player, Jung Min Lee, shot a 69 as well to finish solo 6th.
