Just outside of Ottawa....Korea wins the girl's individual and team titles at the World Jr. Am Championship.

Cool, thanks for posting this! Hye Jin Choi has already contended several times in KLPGA events; looks like she vaults to the top of the list of amateurs to watch over the next couple of seasons! (Choi in the middle below)

Though it wasn't clear from the story, Choi's total for the week was 12 under, giving her a 7 shot win over the Danish girl who finished second.

Choi dusted field with a 7 shot win.
I don't know how much she'll move up in the Am rankings...she's currently at 53.
IMO....one needs to be a top #10 ranked Am to be an eventual consistent longer term contender on the LPGA if they turn pro.

But Korean amateurs don't play that often over here, hence their rankings tend to be artificially lower than their skill should dictate.

It's too early for me to say she has an LPGA level pro career ahead of her, but I'm not counting her out, either!
