I didn't forget about Chuseok, just wasn't sure which weekend it was. My wife is Korean American, but thoroughly American. She claims she doesn't know how to speak Korean, but whenever I try to speak it, she always corrects me! So does your family celebrate Chuseok? I might go pick up some gimbap or spicy pork dish. How often do you eat Korean food...I assume most at a restaurant? I can't say I'm a huge fan of Korean food except Korean BBQ...it's too healthy and too hot for me. I believe it's pretty rare to find a Korean who can't speak their mother tongue...they really try to enforce their children to speak Korean...which is great.

Round 2: Ha Na Jang Takes Two Shot Lead
A few years ago in New Zealand, a Korean born teenager made an amazing splash. She won tournament after tournament, often setting records for youngest to do so. Eventually she worked her way up to being the #1 amateur in the world. Many predicted she would become the next big superstar. Then, an even younger Korean born teenager named Lydia Ko came along and usurped everything the first teen had done. That teen, Cecilia Cho, eventually turned pro, joined the KLPGA, and all but disappeared from the radar. But in the past few weeks, Cho has shown signs of returning to life. In the morning on Friday, Cecilia Cho made a huge run up the leaderboard. She collected seven birdies and moved to a three shot lead before a double bogey on her final hole dropped her back to 10 under. Still the lead at that time, though. Sei Young Kim shot a 73 despite a quintuple bogey 9 on one of her early holes. In Gee Chun shot a 4 under par round to move to 6 under total, while her paying partner Sung Hyun Park, last week's winner, moved to 8 under and into contention for her third win of the year. In the afternoon, it was all about Ha Na Jang. Jang shot a 7 under par 65 to vault to 14 under, giving her a two shot lead and the inside track for her first win of the year. Two behind her is Min Sun Kim, who shot her own 65, and Su Yeon Jang, who shot a 66. Among those who missed the cut are Volvik players Mi Hyang Lee and MJ Hur, KLPGA star Jung Min Lee and LPGA player Q Baek. One more day! Scores: 1. Ha Na Jang 65 -14 2. She never cooks Korean food, but her parents do, so I do get treated from time to time! We don't celebrate Korean holidays, but we did celebrate the 100 day party when our daughter reached that milestone.

Round 3: Ha Na Jang Cruises to Big Win
Ha Na Jang didn't have her best stuff on the final day, but after having shot back to back 65s the first two days, it seemed unlikely she would. Nonetheless, she shot a 2 under par 70, which meant someone else was going to have to go low to stop her. No one could do it, so she captured a fairly easy 4 shot win in her return to Korea.
Cecilia Cho notched her career best KLPGA result, a tie for second with Min Sun Kim and recent winner Min Song Ha.

Min Sun Kim
Two star rookies, Ji Young Park and Gyeol Park, tied last week's winner Sung Hyun Park for 5th.
Gyeol Park - what does this hand gesture mean? Suddenly everyone is making it.
Sung Hyun Park
Ha Neul Kim staged a big rally, shooting a 67 to nearly capture a top ten.
In Gee Chun shot a 70 to move into the top 20.
But all the kudos rightly go to Ha Na Jang. Congrats to her!

Da Na Kang is very cute....actually there quite a few cute new up and comer's. Da Na's also gaming a JetSpeed.....one would think a touring pro would upgrade to the AeroBurner...but I think Gerina is still playing the RocketBallz driver...not even the Stage 2.
Char Young looks so much nicer in a skort.
Best colorful outfit goes to Soo Jin Yang...but she wins this award many times.

Congrats to The Hulk....BAM. The Volvik necklace is too cheezy. CloverGirl was throwing out white golf balls to the galleries after the round.....I hope those were Volvik's and not ProV1's, Chrome Soft's, SR3's, Xrixons, etc or what ever she plays. It would be like someone handing out UPS brochures in Atlanta this weekend.

Congratulation to one of my favorites Ha Na Jang. I kind of would have liked to see Min Sun5 win as well. However she really needs to improve on the pace of her putts.
In Gee got to minus ten, but made two bogeys down the stretch. She missed a few short putts again. But I think it's not to concerning for her.

I think Dumbo's got to get nasty and more upset to get some mojo back. I think if she befriended Kerr or Petterson...In Gee would find her inner 'b*tch" to win more. I hope Sei Young Kim and The Hulk make the Int'l Crown team and get paired up often...those two are some major bada*ses to kick some major butt.

She actually got to 11 under at one point, then had a double and two bogies coming in (with one birdie). She definitely seems to be losing focus at times the past month, probably because she's a little burned out after all the golf she's played this year. My guess is a long vacation would do her good.

There's that gesture again!
That would be a finger heart. Instead of arching one's arms beside their head, which is how some K-pop stars express love to their fans in one example of what's known as aegyo, they simply cross their thumb and index finger so that collectively they form a heart shape.

Everything changed after she won the US Women's Open; she needs time to sort through everything and become whole again.
