With this win, Hyo Joo became the first golfer in KLPGA history to break 1 billion won in earnings for a single year (nearly a million bucks). An amazing achievement. Consider that Jung Min Lee, second on the money list with nearly 600 million won, has one of the ten best season totals ever herself, yet has only slightly more than half Kim's total.
