Would there be a better story than Ha Neul Kim parlaying her relatively successful last two weeks into a victory at the Hana Bank and awarding her with full time LPGA membership?

Round 3: Star Packed Leaderboard, Major Up For GrabsHa Neul Kim started the day with a three shot lead and in good position to capture the title. She shot a decent even par 72 in tough conditions to remain at five under, still a share of the lead. But she suddenly finds herself surrounded by some of the top players on this year's money list. Both Hyo Joo Kim and Jung Min Lee shot 69s and are tied with her at 5 under. As if that weren't enough, second ranked Ha Na Jang now sits just a shot back. So the top three players on the money list are all within a shot of the lead. (Note another dragonfly on her hat! ) And Sei Young Kim, yet another top player, is next on the leaderboard, three back. Meanwhile, two of the years big Rookie stars, Min Sun Kim and Kyu Jung Baek (who won the year's previous Major) sit five back tied for even. In Gee Chun is also tied for 7th at even par with those two rookies. What a leaderboard! One more day. Which big star will capture the beer filled trophy? Scores: 1. Ha Neul Kim 72 -5 - Hyo Joo Kim 69 -5 - Jung Min Lee 69 -5 4. Ha Na Jang 69 -4 5. Sei Young Kim 71 -2 - Yoon Ji Cho 72 -2 Notables: 7. Min Sun Kim 5 (R) 71 Even - In Gee Chun 71 Even - Kyu Jung Baek (R) 70 Even 11. Min Young Lee 70 +1 14. Yoon Kyung Heo 75 +2 19. Jin Young Ko (R) 74 +4 - Mi Jeong Jeon 74 +4 28. Chae Young Yoon 78 +6 - Shi Hyun Ahn 72 +6 - Hye Youn Kim 79 +6 34. Kyeong Bae 76 +7 40. Shin Ae Ahn 77 +8 - Ji Hyun Oh (R) 74 +8 - Je Yoon Yang 75 +8 44. Soo Jin Yang 76 +9

It's hilarious how many photos they have each round of the women stretching, bending over, etc. I would be remiss if I didn't include a few but I try to keep it relatively classy nonetheless.

Round 4: Playoff! Hyo Joo Kim Wins Second KLPGA Major of 2014At the start of the day, several top Korean stars were in position to possibly win this event. Ha Neul Kim has been looking to get a trophy all year, but has repeatedly come up just shy. Alas, this day was no different. She just didn't have it, and collapsed out of contention by the 10th hole. She wound up shooting a crushing 77. In the end, three players were all legitimately in the hunt: Hyo Joo Kim, Ha Na Jang and Jung Min Lee. Jang made a birdie to move to 3 under, one back of Kim and Lee. But she was not able to birdie again, even the par 5 18th, and finished third. Kim took the lead at 4 under, but made back to back bogies on 14 and 15 to fall two back of Lee. It looked like all she wrote for the teen star, but Kim clawed a birdie on 17, then made another on 18 to tie Lee, who only made par. Playoff! Lee struggled in the playoff. On the par-5 18th, she hit a bad drive right, then knocked her second into the water. Thus, Kim had little trouble winning the playoff and collecting her second KLPGA Major win of 2014! Congrats to Hyo Joo Kim on another Major triumph! Scores: 1. Hyo Joo Kim 73 -4* Won in playoff 2. Jung Min Lee 73 -4 3. Ha Na Jang 73 -3 4. Min Young Lee 69 -2 5. Sei Young Kim 73 -1 Notables: 6. Kyu Jung Baek (R) 72 Even - Ha Neul Kim 77 Even 8. In Gee Chun 73 +1 10. Yoon Kyung Heo 73 +3 14. Shi Hyun Ahn 71 +5 17. Chae Young Yoon 73 +7 - Ji Hee Kim 73 +7 22. Kyeong Bae 73 +8 - Hye Youn Kim 74 +8 - Mi Jeong Jeon 76 +8 29. Ji Hyun Oh (R) 73 +9 - Min Sun Kim 5 (R) 81 +9 - Jin Young Ko (R) 77 +9 36. Shin Ae Ahn 74 +10 - Je Yoon Yang 74 +10 46. Soo Jin Yang 75 +12

I watched the anticlimactic play-off live…in my mind I was saying Hyo Joo Kim has two putts to win...and then the broadcaster says “two putts to win” in English! The squeeze bottle beer bash afterward was a bit nauseating. Someone doesn’t know how to pour beer. It’s nothing particular I can pin down, but Jung Min Lee has a funky alluring attractiveness.

Once I saw Sky leave two putts 3 feet short and another one sail 4 feet by on 20 foot putts...I knew it wouldn't be her day...she had some very loose shots too.
I was surfing between this and the Sime Darby......I'm lame and couldn't stay awake and fell asleep when the leaders were around the 13th hole.
Congrats to Hyo Joo....she needs to take her LPGA card. If she doesn't enjoy it....then quit and go home.
It will be easy for HJK to find an experienced LPGA caddy familiar with the courses...there are a lot of loops available that were fired by The Dragon Lady. Lydia was flat this weekend....Jason you better watch your back....Tina wasn't impressed.....lol.
