You would think Sharon's first win in five years would produce some immediate acknowledgement from the TaylorMade/Adidas online sites in any language, but I haven't found anything. Scotty Cameron has been sleeping, too. I can't remember if she still has Vokey wedges. Korea is not good with reporting WITB...her irons have a slot cut into the soles (TM of course), but that's all I know. As of now, only Srixon is paying attention. OK...what's the significance of taking a pic in front of a plain brick building with a steel door and no windows. OK...is it just me....Minjee seems like she's on a mission to get to her next destination ASAP when she's outside the ropes....I always thought most Sheila's were chilled. |

Chella Choi returns home for the first time since her win. At the airport:    This is great! So who would get that banner made up....I would assume it's not cheap? And how would they know which flight she's on? Last year I went back to Toronto....a huge weather issue...there were 100's of people waiting for luggage. There's Mike Weir.....very few said hi to him....it's Canada's largest city....not Atlanta. I don't care for Weirsy...IMO...he's stand off'ish. |

Just a quick aside: I was flipping through this month's Golf Digest (US edition) at the bookstore ('the comedy issue' it says on the cover), and near the front was a two page ad from Hite Beer congratulating In Gee Chun on her US Women's Open win! The left page had a full page photo of In Gee holding the trophy, the right page a full page photo of a bottle of beer.  Since this is probably the only time In Gee will appear in the US edition of this magazine, I thought I'd give it a mention! |
