In other news, Stage One of JLPGA Q-School will be conducted at three locations from Nov. 19 thru 22 ... don't know how many players from each will advance to the final stage (Nov. 26-29). Numerous has-beens past winners will be teeing it up, including Hori One, Misuzu Narita, Ting Ting, Yumiko Yoshida, Yukari Nishiyama, Erina Hara, Kotono Kozuma, Sakura Yokomine and others, along with the recent graduates from the JLPGA Pro Test, most notably perennial LPGA wannabe Suzuka Yamaguchi, future covergirl Reika Miyako and Yuri's baby sis Rin Yoshida.

Good to see Natsuka Hori keep trying, every once in a while, she will have a one or two good scores.
Did not know that Yuri had a sister that played only a brother.

I think you got mixed up ... it is Yui who has a big-time golfer brother, Riki Kawamoto.
Yuri says she will play LPGA Q-Series and JLPGA Q-School ... apparently her past success in Japan counts for nothing.

Hori One recovered with a 71 in round two of her prelim q-school ... moved up to T-31 ... I don't know what the cut is from each site.

Baby Ronni, just before she started taking her lumps again, 83, +11. She just turned 16 ... an article says her JLPGA exempt status runs through the end of next season (didn't get three years for winning Salonpas because she wasn't a tour member). She was allowed not to attend school in person because she was part of Korea's national team, but that privilege ends next year.

Did get see them tee off on one at the 11:03 group start.
Yui Kawamoto was two under on front nine, started the back nine with a bogey.
Kotone Hori is even through nine.
