Yes, I'm a little early with this (it runs Dec. 5-9), but the LPGA posted this brief and blunt interview with Karen Chung:
She mentioned hiring a caddie only within the last two years. I don't remember what I saw at her Epson event in 2018 (Valley Forge) ... after looking up my notes, she's right ... carried her own black stand bag with a USC logo. I last followed her at the 2023 Cognizant ... needs to ace Q-Series so she can do more than fill the pro-ams at Shoprite/Acer in 2025.

Cernousek changed her mind about continuing with the Texas A&M ... turned pro and will play this one.

I missed this last week ... the LPGA will be announcing some kind of program for amateurs that will allow the very best ones to skip Q-series.

How about a program to allow players ranked in the top 50 to skip? Shouldn't they want the best to come over? And they will almost certainly be more immediately competitive than college stars...
