It runs four days, Oct. 29 thru Nov. 1. I pushed the field list through Google Mush and I don't think there are any Koreans here, although I wouldn't bet on that. There are definitely Chinese names here, along with "Jaraby Bunchan" ... if that doesn't ring a bell, how about Jaravee Boonchant?
I think I have established who will join Boonchant at the "cool" table inside the clubhouse dining room:
Suzuka Yamaguchi and Min Lee (age 29, I thought she was older) ...
... along with ex-Oregon Duck Minori (Miki) Nagano (left), who dropped out of LPGA Stage Two q-school with right foot pain ...
... after playing the past season on Epson with right knee and right hip pain ... will try to play hurt this week.
LIVE streaming for last two rounds starts at 7:50 AM on Thursday and 7:20 AM on Friday (Japan time)
Round Three -
Round Four -

Gone are the days when a Korean like Solar Lee could shock the field (and her 3 fans in the Western Hemisphere) and run away with the Pro Test.

I think it's the top-20 plus ties that get a ticket.
Jaraby Bunchan (T-36, 74, +2) has some work to do.
Disastrous start for Yoshida Two (T-90, 79, +7)

JB will surely get her Hana Bank gig axed in 2025. The standards are higher than sitting 144 in CME. Save it for Jasmine Koo.

Boonchant (74-75) should be at the start of the YT stream for Round Three as she will tee off in the first group at #1 at 8 AM (Japan time).
************
The media's designated "it girl" in this one is Reika Miyako (T-4, 70-71) who is holding up her end of the bargain.

I almost forgot about the streaming ... missed Boonchant's first two shots at the par-4 1st ... she two-putted from about 30 feet for par. They're playing in foursomes ... Boonchant's group includes Mizuki Hashimoto, who if I recall correctly, is a past Women's Asia-Pac Am champion. Just like last year, there are no broadcasters or spectators. The early going at the 1st hole looks mostly like a steady stream of unknowns.

FYI, they're showing the player names in English.
Blast from The Past time ... just saw Prima Thammaraks tee off at #1 ... did I ever see her before? Maybe Shoprite/Acer or one of the pro-ams? I just can't remember and I don't feel like digging through The Archives for the answer. At #1, she missed the fairway, missed the green and made bogey. She played four years at Iowa State and is 32. Per her most recent postings on IG, she's a regular on various Asian scrub tours.

They are at least 9 minutes behind the scheduled tee times. Per the official tee times (Japan time), ex-LPGAer Suzuka Yamaguchi will go at 9:50 AM and Cheesecake Miyako will go at 10:01 AM. Min Lee (76-75) started at #10 and will have to give up her seat at the dining room "cool" table.
Boonchant earlier.

Round Three is in the books ... anyone outside the top-90 was told to go home. The top players are starting at #1 on Friday at 7:30 AM. (Japan time)
The top-20 plus ties cut line is currently is +2 and 23 players are at it. The "cool" table in the clubhouse dining room made a desperate comeback: Jaravee Boonchant shot 70 and Min Lee shot 68, placing both at +3.
Suzuka Yamaguchi (+3) is still at the "cool" table, although she went in the wrong direction with a 75.
Yuka Hijikata (T-6, -3) ... look at what we're missing because of that dumb shroud ... but if she'll look like that at age 40, keep it on.

I've glanced at the final round video every once in a while ... I think that's Yoshida Two below.
I'm fascinated by these golf carts. Each foursome has one caddie woman pushing a three-wheeler with four staff bags side-by-side. The total weight of this thing is ridiculous, but they seem easy to push (sometimes these women are jogging behind them) ... I wonder if they have battery-assist power? Sometimes they practically roll by themselves.

Per Google mush, plus a couple of spelling fixes I entered, this is the final top-20 plus ties list. The next step is attending the mandatory orientation sessions where you learn about makeup application and the proper way to put food on your plate at a buffet line.

OARAI, JAPAN - NOVEMBER 01: Sayaka Teraoka of Japan poses in front of the leaders' board as she passed the professional qualifying test following the final round of the JLPGA Final Pro Test at Oarai Golf Club on November 1, 2024 in Oarai, Ibaraki, Japan. Which magazine cover gets her first? Maybe she's already had one!
... and if she bombs out of LPGA Stage 3 Q-Series in December, then she's got something to fall back on. 👍 BTW, I noticed her and another Yonex player wearing a Yonex glove ... try getting one of those at PGA Tour Superstore (you can't).
Great comeback for Yoshida Two after opening with a 79 ...
... and a big shout-out from Yoshida One, who had this to say on her IG (per Google mush) -
"Congratulations to pro golfer Yoshida Suzu for passing the pro test!!!" she wrote, commenting as someone who witnessed her sister's efforts and hardships up close as she passed on her third try.
"I saw her practicing with all her heart, carrying things that she shouldn't have had to carry. I felt so sorry and wanted to do something to help her, but I couldn't do anything and could only watch her. That's why Imoko is so strong, having overcome this obstacle! I'm heading to Hawaii so I can't meet you today, but I'm excited and looking forward to the next time I come home and having professional golfer Imoko at home."
Reflecting on her own experience taking the pro test, she continued, "And to all the players who passed, congratulations! Even if you didn't, the process and time you spent preparing for this over the past year is immeasurable, but I could feel it even through the screen. I'm not in a position to say anything, but I was very moved. Thank you. You did a great job!!"

I hope there's also a class on how to dress for the pro-am gala. Some gals do it right, but just as many don't. No sneakers and no just throwing a windbreaker over a T-shirt & jeans. Looks like the graduating class is 100% Japanese. I enjoyed the coverage. The ambient sound was great...lots of different bird calls. Who needs announcers to fill every second of dead air when you've got everything you need to know in the graphics.
