What happened with In Gee? Is she injured.
Yealimi is -5 today moving up. On the season, round 3 is her worse by avg. a good sign. Awesome Kim now in the top 10

The Korean golfers are missing a lot of makeable putts. Miss reading breaks, too fast or too slow pace and also just unlucky on good putts.

Yealimi finally did it, she shot a 65 (-7); her best score in more than 2 years. She isn't going to win tomorrow, but she might if she's able to string two or three of those together in the next few weeks.

Great round by Yu Jin Sung sixty-three low round of the day to move up to second place.
Typical A Lim Kim got to minus eleven early then made a double on par five eight. Did come back with an eagle and birdie on back nine. I keep waiting for her to have one of those break out Tournaments that she is capable of.
I suppose that Jeong Eun Lee6 will be going to Q Series, she has not improved much.

I know that I was referring to how she has played lately. Mainly because it's a no cut Tournament. All though Yu Jin Sung is tied for second, she is an invite and also will not receive any. She is probably ok at eighty-seven CME Ranking, but a win will solve all that.

What happened with In Gee? Is she injured. Injured since May. She's on the comeback trail. A few instagram posts recently showing her hitting some balls in the US. Remote chance she may make some tournaments back in the US in late Oct/Nov but more likely she's planning a 2025 return. I don't know how LPGA "points/rankings" work when out injured. I'd hope she will get some leeway when she returns. I've only see her once live and she's my fave! At least winning a major in 2022 should see her at Evian and the British next year all being well.

LPGA has a solid "Medical Leave" policy; that a player will be allowed to come back for at least the amount of time that player missed during her leave. In Gee won't have any problems if she comes back and plays at her typical high standard.

Finally got finished watching the third round. Normally it doesn't take me that long, but they actually showed a lot of players I like for a change! It's kind of irritating that Green was playing mediocre golf most of the day, then makes a super long eagle putt to pad her lead at the last minute. Can never make it easy for the Koreans, can you? I mean, just once maybe? Yu Jin was incredible, but Hae Ran might have been even better, at least tee to green. I swear she missed like six putts within six feet and still finished in the top five. Im had a nice solid day, so of course Saigo moved slightly ahead of her. Not in her house, Saigo! I hope Jin Hee and Yu Jin really get the job done Sunday! Also got a couple of nice looks at Soomin Oh, with the commentators oohing and ahhing at her shots. Hope she gets some more coverage on the final day. Come on, Sisters, play tough on Sunday! Let's get that win on home soil. If that's the last Korean win of the year, so be it, let's just make it here. Hwaiting!

And you gotta love the Aussie accents of the English language announcers for the Asian tournaments... "This is Her-Jin Choi"

Congratulations to Hannah Green, winner of the 2024 BMW Ladies Championship! She held off CĂ©line Boutier whom I always fear. Nice top ten finishes by Hye-Jin, Yu Jin, Haeran, and Jin Hee in their home country tournament. See you next weekend in Malaysia for the Maybank Championship...

Yikes, one of the least impressive results I have ever seen at this event. I suppose it wasn't a shock; despite Yu Jin's excellent round yesterday and Hae Ran's relentless tee-to-green brilliance, it never felt like Green was going to lose for at least the last three days. Today I don't think the Sisters got closer than two shots all day, and most of the time it seemed well out of reach. I kept hoping we'd get at least one Korean player making a run to give the home crowd fans something to get jazzed about, but Yu Jin was (not surprisingly) flat after her Saturday 63 and Hae Ran made dumb mistakes for the first time all week, and no one else was close enough. No offense to Green, but Hae Ran should have walked away with this title given how pinpoint her irons were most of the week. The commentators couldn't stop raving about her. She has GOT to work on her putting! I'll give Jin Hee credit for having a good day, albeit not one where she was close enough to challenge. Still, she beat Saigo, so I'll take that. Not enough to make a ROY difference, though. It took me forever to watch round 3 and less than an hour to watch all of today, giving you idea how much less compelling today was for me. Amazingly, this was Yu Jin's first top ten in a solo event all year (!), which is crazy considering she played pretty well at KPMG. Also nice to see Hye Jin follow up her 62 at the end of last week with a top five here. She'll win an event yet! Another astonishing stat according to the commentators: Soomin Oh had the longest driving average this week by TEN YARDS. I knew she was long, but that's crazy. OK, it's the LPGA's two measuring holes method, so take it with a grain of salt, but still! I hope the KLPGA can get over themselves and start getting their players back into this event and into more Majors. This event is a shadow of what it used to be when a surprise star like Hee Jeong Lim used to take a shot at winning. Hwaiting!
