For a brief moment I thought Yealimi would Strom her way to the top, starting the day with 3 birdies, but has been in neutral ever since.

Congrats to gold medalist and hall of fame qualifier Lydia Ko on her victory in the Kroger Queen City Championship! Lydia is owning the 2nd half of 2024 in almost the same way that Nelly owned the 1st half...
And congrats to the Sisters for strong performances this week. Haeran with a solid 3rd place, almost catching Thitikul for 2nd. Hyo Joon ties Nelly for 5th. Jin Hee and A Lim also top tens.

Things aren't getting any better for Annie; she fell to #156 on current year CME ranking. It probably doesn't make any sense to re-enter LPGA Q-Series; therefore she should try her best to get inside #125 or #100. She's 47.15 CME points, she needs 120 points for #125 and 205 for #100. She's two more tournaments to do that.

Meh, what a snoozer that last round was. Sometimes it sucks to be right (I called her as the winner on Thursday). I didn't watch much, but luckily I did find some highlights for Haeran. She played decently, so there's that. Nice top three! Surprisingly good day for Hyo Joo Jang, a top five! And Jin Hee netted a top ten and actually gained ground on Saigo. Will wonders never cease! Of course, So Mi melted down and fell behind Saigo, but at least one of them held on. The Koreans are having a much better second half of the season. Hopefully Haeran will do a great job in her title defense. Hwaiting!

Jin Hee Im had doubles in three of the four rounds this week, including today. That certainly didn't help score. Ah well, still a good week.

I assume you mean Nelly, Rose and then Yealimi. Yealimi is playing more consistently than when she's named to Team USA in 2021; but unfortunately her kryptonite stays the same in that she's failed to win. I don't believe she can be "one of the best of anything" without winning. By the way, did you note that Yealimi is leading the race to 2026 Team USA; they started to count from 2024 FM Championship played in Boston August 29 - September 1.

Great Tournament by Hyo Joan Jang with tie for fifth place, birdied three out of last four holes. Also moved into the top one hundred CME from one thirteen to eighty-nine.
Great back nine by Hae Ran Ryu with six birdies and one three putt bogey. Also had five birdies in a row for solo third.
Jin Hee Im tied for ninth had thirty-two front nine but even par back nine with double and two birdies. Moved up to within fifty in the Rookie of The Year race.
A Lim Kim had her usual five birdies and three bogeys, still managed to get a top ten.
Not a good weekend for Sei Young Kim minus two and So Mi Lee plus two.

My opinion, year to date, Nelly 1st, LC 2nd, Lilia 3rd Last 3 or 4 months, LC barely ahead of Nelly, Lilia a distant 3rd Last two years, Nelly barely ahead of Lilia, no idea who would be 3rd In terms of hype, much of it deserved, Lexi, Rose, and Nelly, pick your order...
But total props to Rose for the 2024 Solheim.

I did notice on the new website that Yealimi is first place in the new Solheim standings - a good chance to pad her lead after Walmart where she finished top 10 last year.

Only someone in Japan's media would catch up on the doings of Yani Toast (11 starts, 11 trunk slams) ... but they spotted her putting left-handed and had to investigate:
Google mush excerpt:
Q. When did you start putting with your left hand?
"It started last week. There were no games last week, so I was practicing with my coach. I haven't been feeling good about my putting lately, so I asked my coach for advice, and he said, 'Why don't you try putting with your left hand once?' As he said, when I putted with my left hand, it was surprisingly good."
Q. So today was the first time you putted with your left hand in a game?
"Yes. It was the first time in my life that I hit with my left hand in a match (laughs). It went surprisingly well. It was a little difficult to judge the distance, but the line was good. I think it was good that I addressed the ball and focused only on the target line."
Q. What about your left-handed putter?
"I asked the manufacturer's representative to make a left-handed version of the same model as the right-handed putter I usually use."
****
Hmm ... how about a whole set of lefty clubs from Callaway ... her stats are a train wreck:

Haeran Ryu moved up to 9th in the world, her first time ever in the top ten!!! Congrats to her! Also the first time in a while that there were three Sisters in the top ten.
Jin Hee Im also moved up 7 spots to re-enter the top 40 at 40th. Hyo Joon Jang moved up 76 spots to 214th.

The "Old" Ko is playing like the old Ko. Absolute world-beater.
I caught on the broadcast that Nelly probably won't make a start again until the Florida tournaments in November. I bet Lexi won't tour the Far East again this year as well.
