This one runs four days, 8/20 thru 8/23, at the Star Hue Golf & Resort. It's directly east of Incheon, about half-way between both coasts of the ROK. This field will be stronger than the last event with the inclusion of Dumbo, SJ Yang, Jung Min Lee and Jae Eun Chung...and weaker with the absence of JY Ko, Shi Hyun Ahn, Min Sun Kim, and Ji Na Lim.

Great first round 67 for Ahn...Song Yi Ahn, that is. They showed her last four or five holes and interviewed her afterward...a definite hotty. But, the stupid photographers were out to lunch...can't find any pix of her. Meanwhile, Sharon just started...Even after six holes. They'll probably show her later, but I'm going to bed. Looks like Honma has at least three commercials now...how many more in the works? Early stumbles by Jung Min Lee, +2 74.  |

Round 1: Three Tied For Lead; In Gee Two BackIn Gee Chun is seeking her 5th win of the season. She got out to a good start, carding a 69 to put her in 7th place. SoYeonFan, I wish you were right about Lee and Yang, as I like them both, but I went back and confirmed that they slammed the trunk. The top-60 scores plus ties brought in 64 players at -1 or better. What is the story with Soo Jin? Her game has really leveled off in the last two years...hasn't won since early 2013. She hasn't played horribly, but she is totally out of it by Sunday week after week. I'm glad I followed her at the 2013 USWO...still remember her crushing a wind-aided drive of 305 at the 2nd hole. A future step-up to the LPGA looked doable then, but not now. Jae Eun Chung also bombed out at Even...maybe Japan would have been the better choice this week...too late now!   fanofseri: I go for their Traditional Lager. I guess if Hollywood remakes "Smokey and the Bandit", they could haul Yeungling from East to West. |

I wasn't to sure about the cut line.
I thought it was top sixty.
Wishful thinking on my part, because I really wanted Jung Min to make the cut.
