It's definitely an opportunity for a brand new winner as the following absentees are at the Scottish Open or AIGWO this month: Erika Hara, Team Iwai, Sakura Koiwai, Momoko Osato, The Shinster, Rio Takeda, MeYou Yamashita and Hikaru Yoshimoto.

Yui Kawamoto wasn't making much movement on Rolex Rankings with all those top ten.
However, she moved up thirty-one places to eighty eighth after the win.

Things didn't work out that good for Yui Kawamoto in the Featured Group at plus four.
Her plus one finish in the last Tournament is the first time in a while that she had two over par rounds in a row.
Kotone Hori also had a tough first round at plus five.

BIGGER FISH TO FRY DEPARTMENT: Yui (AIWGO next week) dropped out and Min Young Lee (Hanwha Classic next week) dropped out.

Shina Kanazawa (+1 with nine holes remaining on Saturday) is playing the Hanwha Classic next week ....
... and Sora Kamiya (+1 with nine holes remaining on Saturday) will also play Hanwha next week.

What a difference a week makes in this game of golf.
Yui Kawamoto and Kotone Hori was competing for first place last week.
This week Yui Kawamoto withdrew after a bad first round and Kotone will miss the cut.
