Not a lot of Sisters making the cut today, but Six just made an eagle on 17 So she's even par. If she pars or better on 18 she's probably through to the weekend.

As the tv coverage ends, nine Sisters above the cut line and seven below. Only Haeran and Hye-Jin look really competitive...
Time to channel (the real) Haney: "Lin, Liu, and Li in the top ten going into the weekend..."

Shoot, the cut moved to 1 under near the end of the day and Six missed it as a result. Oh well, it was close!

Shoot, the cut moved to 1 under near the end of the day and Six missed it as a result. Oh well, it was close! It looks like the Es are now safe at T65 - Plenty of sisters at that number. And Erica shepherd makes the cut, I hope she doesn't party too hard with Gina tonight who is poised to have her best result of the season. Dinner is still on JB.

Ugh ... out on the street for the first time this year ... it must be the golf course ... her best finish here is T-18 and she has been at it for long time. Her loop-of-the-week was Aaron Landry ... I've seen that name before ... Getty has a pic of him this year with Dr. Noh at 2024 KPMG and with Liz Salas at the 2012 USWO.

Not a good day for the Koreans golfers however the cut at even par gives more of them a chance to move up on the weekend.
So Mi Lee started with a birdie on the first hole to move to four under. After that she had four bogeys a double and only one more birdie. The thirty-two putts put a damper on her round. Yu Jin Sung also was hurt by thirty-three putts, had three bogeys no birdies.

Good to see Jin Hee Im come back with a decent round after plus one the first round. Minus two isn't great but it's a lot better than missing the cut and falling farther behind Rookie of the Year Race. It's already a tough task with the two really good golfers ahead of her.

With a relatively weak field, we get to find out who's made of the right stuff even if they haven't had the best of results recently. Thumbs-up to players such as Sarah Kemp, Ssu-Chia Cheng and Lucy Li for contending.
At the other end of the leaderboard, well, let's just say Muni He is never going to happen. And Yani? She should be staying home in Taiwan and schmooze with the big shots of the island.

I thought the golf was done when I looked at those scores, but I guess it wasn't, and that was enough for things to change again. Four Sisters shot even par and made the cut. Six is teeing off at 7 AM. Early call, but this should motivate her to play her heart out. Hye Jin and Hae Ran are playing together, too, at 11:20 AM. I hope they get some air time. Interestingly, Jin Hee is playing with Ji Won Jeon. Weird how many Sisters are paired with other Sisters! So Mi and Yu Jin seem to both struggle with the greens in the States, especially So Mi. I'm still hoping they can rally soon and start posting more good results. They are too good to dwell in the doldrums like this. Hwaiting!

Great round for Trojan rookie Malia Nam shooting 7 under to get in mix.
Another classic Gina Kim brewing with 5 birdies and a bunch of mistakes.
AP is +1 on the par 5s this week thru 45 holes, but she is hanging tough!

Six shot a 67 this morning and vaulted up the leaderboard. Good for her!

It has been a good morning and early afternoon for nearly all the Sisters who made the cut. Haeran, Hye-Jin, Hyo Joon, Jin Hee are all moving the right direction on 'moving day.'
And yes, who plugged in Malia Nam today?!?!?

Annie's round was almost wiped away with a double on 13, but she bounced back with 2 birdies - now 7 on the day 🤯 with 3 holes to play, hopefully she will birdie the final 2 par 5s.
Her playing partner HJ Jang also having a great day
