Min Byeol hit a great drive on the last hole, then duffed a short iron into a bunker. She now has about four feet for par. After her great day, I hope she avoids back-to-back bogies to finish! Fingers crossed.
Sigh... Of course she missed it. What a drag after such a great round. Oh well, positives! It was still a great round, just not as good as it should have been.

Hyo Song Lee was in a ditch and hit a fantastic shot up to the green within fifteen feet of the hole.

It's easy to get full of yourself when you are at the top of your game.
In this game of golf things can change fast.
By the way she will make the cut.
Hee Jeong Lim was at the top of her game, had the accident and her game has gone downhill since.
She tried to improve over the winter, but her game and confidence has taken a hit.
Example of her confidence, she had three birdies two bogeys front nine, but four bogeys no birdies back nine.
So if your favorite is at the top now there is no guarantee that it will last, so don't look down on golfers with less success.
By the way if Hee Jeong doesn't make another cut all year she will always be my number one.

Check how many players are so far behind they gave up and withdrew. I would support Yewon if she retired from golf this afternoon. She played an insane 5-under on the front nine to seemingly make the cut. WOW. |

Hyo Song Lee had seven birdies and just one bogey today. Oh, and a 10 on the par 5 10th. Ouch! Still, she was brilliant almost the entire day, and did make the cut, albeit on the nose.
