I don't hate 54 hole championships, but they haven't had a 72 hole event in a while. I would like to see another 72 hole event splashed into the mix. (They did have the match play torture)
Over the last 4 to 6 weeks, the 54 hole championship's purse has risen. This weekend for example, the purse is as high as the Korea Women's Open.

Remember last year, Park Minji won this event for the third time in a row. Minji's current performance is improving. She has been finishing higher and higher in leaderboards, and she wants to win this for the FOURTH time.
At last year's event Minji had to win in a playoff against Lee Yewon. Lee Yewon is attempting to win back to back events AND win her FOURTH event of the year.
Media articles are claiming this is Minji's fourth vs Yewon's fourth.

Will Min Ji Park be the first to win the same Tournament four times in a row. m.sports.naver.com/golf/article/435/0000013902Also, Hee Jeong Lim, Min Byeol Kim, Min Son7 Kim and Jin Seon Han will be playing in their hometown. Since Hee Jeong haven't played her way into the Broadcast maybe playing in her Hometown will help. Or maybe not because she was getting bad pairings last year, worse than players that she played better than.

The last couple of events Min Byeol has played pretty well, although it might not have been obvious. In the match play, she won two matches and was tied with Jeongmin Moon with two to play when Moon chipped in for birdie. That was the moment that prevented her from advancing. That's match play: sometimes you play great and still don't advance. At the Open, she played three pretty strong rounds, and were she able to hold it together a bit better on Sunday, she might have walked off with a top ten.
Make no mistake, she still has things she needs to address, but I'm hoping she will start building momentum and will be a factor this week. I mean, have you seen her swing? Does her head even move? She is way too good to fade away at 20.

tv.naver.com/v/52997169Queens Master 1R Highlights Look like Hee Jeong Lim is heading for another missed cut. She just isn't making enough birdies right now to recover. I really didn't watch the Broadcast after Min Ji Park finished.

Match-play has a different set of rules we all know.
Strictly in STROKE PLAY competition, Yewon hasn't made a bogey in 93 holes. Her last STROKE PLAY bogey was May 11th.

Looks like Ina might miss her first cut this week. She keeps missing shortish putts and it's killing her. Just missed a six footer for birdie on the par 5 18th.
The last three events have been mediocre after a great start. Hopefully she'll right the ship soon and get back to where she was before that.
At least she seems to be having more fun now!
