It's a long and winding walk to the range ... it wasn't like this last time. Coconut Sakurai, last year's JLPGA breakout multi-winner, won't win here or anywhere else soon. She hit about a dozen hybrids and 80% were either rightward leakers or flat-out pushes. It was no better with the driver ... the launch monitor scoreboard here said one of her bad ones had 51 feet of curve. One of her good ones had 23 feet of curve and a flat carry of 240 yards. I'm guessing she has a full team with her: looper, coach and Srixon rep.
