It's great to see Beth Daniels and Pat Bradley as Founders. They were the ones that I watched when I started to watch the LPGA more. Especially Pat Bradley and I guess Beth Daniel who I thought was really nice. Beth Daniel was also great in the Broadcast Booth.
Per Wednesday's pro-am, Beth can still move the ball pretty well with the driver for someone who is 103 67 ... was gaming Ping irons that were shaped like the i59 or Blueprint irons.
On Thursday's broadcast, they asked her what she remembers about UMCC during her 1979 rookie year .... said her memories were off-course: Muffin Spencer-Devlin got her into Studio 54. So, how did Beth do on-course at the 1979 Coca-Cola Classic? The LPGA website is useless for the answer ... the tournament is defunct and Beth's annual results go back only to 1980.

I'll be cruder than normal. Most of these so-called 2nd generation founders wouldn't squat & pee down your throat if your guts were on fire.

I said in an earlier post that I would congratulate the winner, so congrats to Rose on her 2nd LPGA career win, in the 2024 Cognizant Founders Cup.
The only part of the broadcast that I saw, literally, was the last two shots by Rose. I was traveling with my wife for Mother's Day and caught an occasional glance at the leaderboard on lpga.com on the phone. When I saw that Rose led Madelene by one stroke going into the final hole, I got streaming video running on the phone just in time to see Rose's 2nd shot land close to the flag. We were in a bit of the 'boonies' between Lansing and Grand Rapids, so the video froze for a short time just as Rose was about to take her final shot. When the video reconnected, the other players were congratulating Rose. So HF, I actually watched less of the tournament than you...
Glass half full... Jin Young and Sei Young led the sisters (why can't we bring back 2019!) followed by Jin Hee and Jenny, all in the top twenty, then MHL and "Anna Lynn" in the top 30. Maybe the glass is only one-third full if a top 30 finish is interpreted as a sign of success...

Remember when it's a big news when Jin Young Ko's grandfather passed away when she's playing in Hawaii! Nelly is very close to her grandparents and this isn't easy for her. Condolences to Nelly and to the Korda family.
