The organizers are so desperate for attention ... they put Shibuno Fever on the tourney poster and she's not in the field.
It starts Friday for a field of 108 ... top-50 plus ties make the cut. The Shinster returns for this tune-up just before flying out to the oil slick. Yoshida Two will tee it up after her T-14 at ANWA.

Thursday practice -
I assume Yamashita thinks playing this week is the best prep before making her long journey to the Sludge Open ...
... same assumption for Akie Iwai
Yoshida Two
Sakura-chan

Fifteen players were asked who they thought would win The Masters ... Godzilla was the most popular pick with six votes.
Sharon went with a nostalgic choice.
Shuri Sakuma went with Colin Morikawa ... her first reason was "I like his face(lol)"

Yui Kawamoto got too minus four through twelve holes but had three bogeys no birdies the last six. Kotone Hori plus one is sitting on the cut line with a lot of others.

Yui Kawamoto minus two today currently tied for twelfth place. Kotone Hori even today, plus one currently tied for thirty eighth place. Probably has punched her ticket for the weekend.

Second round leader Akie Iwai collapsed on Sunday ... now she can dwell on that for hours on her flight to Houston.

First career win for Rio Takeda ... and it appears that Yoshida Two (+2) received nothing for being low am ... not even a lousy paperweight. (I'm not counting a logo-less black blazer)
Miyuu Yamashita
Mei Takagi (-1)
Min Young Lee
Hana Lee (-1)
Hori Two
Shuri Sakuma (-1) will get up early Monday AM to watch her Masters pick Colin Morikawa win ... I hope she's right, I'm tired of Scheffler.

Yui Kawamoto had an unusual front nine two double bogeys and two birdies. Had a bogey on thirteen to drop to even par, made birdie on three of last five holes for top ten tie. YEA Sayaka Takahashi who I hadn't noticed on the JLPGA in a long time was minus seven through nine holes. But three bogeys no birdies back nine dropped her to a tie for fourth place.
