I went to North Las Vegas to play a course that the Champion Tour had played a long time ago. I don't remember the name, but it was too windy to even hit balls on the driving range. Needless to say, I didn't even attempt to try and play.

She covered her caddie expense ... and she won't get kicked out of the Oil Slick Invitational ... just forget about the rest.

I hope that Hae Ran Ryu win the playoff for the eighth spot. She finished with birdies on the last three holes to get to plus two.

It's hard to imagine there's much for me to watch here.
Would you like to revise and extend your remarks? It's either two out of eight ... or three out of eight. It'll probably be two, especially since Saso hit her ball nine miles past Big Ryu on the first playoff hole and just stuffed it close.
BTW, the LPGA website says lpga.com will carry Saturday's round from 1 PM to 3 PM. Really ... and that's against the ANWA coverage (Noon - 3 PM).

Don't know about HF, but I would like to revise and extend my remarks...
"Madelene Sagstrom "made the cut" at plus+9, but even her "Amy Yang hat" does not have the power to vault her ahead of 50+ other golfers in a single round to make the top eight." CORRECT, however a ridiculous prediction when Moriya Jutanugarn is substituted for Sagstrom... and Moriya didn't even have a magic hat...
"MHL is in play at plus+1, "Anna Lynn" 안나린 is even in a better position at even." CORRECT, Narin made the match play cut but MHL did not. Haeran "the new Ryu" almost was the third sister.
"Narin An needs to ... pass any of the eight ahead of her, and also hold off Brooke and Maja, just holding them off is no easy feat." CORRECT, that's just what "Anna Lynn" did, passing enough golfers to finish 7th. Maja collapsed with an 82, but Brooke eliminated Haeran (not Narin) on the first playoff hole.
"Anyone want to quote odds on a golfer at plus+2 or plus+3 making the top eight cut after Friday? Lots of quality golfers there, Nelly "I won three in a row that I entered," Ay-a-KEE, Koertz Madsen, and the golfer that I most fear, Céline." BEST PREDICTION: Korda. WORST PREDICTION: Boutier! 81! WORST PREDICTION THAT I FORGOT TO MAKE: Ciganda! 85!
"Boutier is like the Thais, you can never count her out. ... The Thais are inexplicably MIA this week!" LAUGHABLY WRONG, see "Boutier! 81!" and Moriya, above ...
THE ONE PREDICTION I WISH HAD BEEN TRUE: "If three sisters make the match play weekend, it will be a huge success..." As Phil pointed out, two sisters made the weekend, I'll rate that a not quite as huge success, but a happy result nonetheless. GO SEI YOUNG AND NARIN!

Congratulations to Moriya Jutanugarn, winner of the playoff for the 8th match play position for the weekend! Did watching the playoff seem like it was a Sunday afternoon to anyone else beside me?

Don't understand why straight driving Hae Ran Ryu didn't hit her driver off the tenth tee. I kind of knew that the golfer with the strangest putting mechanics Yuka Saso would miss the birdie on ten. I wonder which one of those minus three finishers will be unlucky and have to play Nellie Korda.

Still doesn't seem like much reason to watch, although congrats to Narin and Sei Young for getting into the elite 8. I mean, does anyone really think Korda isn't going to win?

Still doesn't seem like much reason to watch, although congrats to Narin and Sei Young for getting into the elite 8. I mean, does anyone really think Korda isn't going to win? Well, at least we have definite golfers to cheer for, in each of the quarterfinal matches on Saturday morning (late morning and early afternoon for me) Moriya, Sei Young, Narin, and Angel... Korda does seem so unstoppable, just like beautiful Lilia did last spring and then again last fall, just like Kupcho did three years ago in the spring... Didn't Lexi and Brooke once win everything? That was a long time ago...
But Maguire worries me more than Nelly... hope that Moriya can keep up her momentum from Friday...

By the way, reducing the field to just 8 golfers is ridiculous. This is barely match play at all. At the least it should have been 16.
Re: 90% of the golfers have no chance to qualify for the top 8 even if they make the cut. Yeah, but most weeks 90% of the golfers have no chance to win. They are still competing for a good paycheck and will get one without having to play three more rounds of golf. Not bad work if you can get it.

Really nice work by Moriya to make the knockout stage although she will have her hands full with Leona.
Ciganda's 85 was absurd. I doubt she will ever win on the LPGA again.

I wouldn't bet even T-Mobile knows this event is going on.

I wouldn't bet even T-Mobile knows this event is going on.
They'd be better off focusing on keeping its databases from being hacked for the umpteenth time.
********
An and Katsu have been taking turns trying to lose ... Katsu might "win" that battle ... the broadcasters have bashed her club choices today ... her looper is named Tom Tanaka, so she can't blame a communications gap. WTH, An just rinsed a wedge at #18 ... after Katsu rinsed her driver at the start of the hole!
