sports.news.naver.com/golf/news/read?oid=477&aid=0000479853I kind of thought this was coming because she had been quite about her status lately A great ambassador will be missed and a big hole as far as I am concerned will be left. I knew that she was special when I followed her when she played her first Tournament as a pro on the Cactus Tour. Oh yeah and she also won it, she will be missed.

Yikes, I saw that article but was at work so I couldn't post it. Sad about this, but given she essentially has no status anymore, it felt like this was going to happen this year.

One of my all time favorite commentator moments on the LPGA. And later when he describes how it's hitting her that she is going to win the Open as she walks to the final green.

At 4 hours 51 mins the commentator says "Seoul Sisters". Both girls were great. If I'd been watching in 2011 So Yeon would've been my fave.

This must have been a last minute decision. She was entered in the tournament and then chose to retire before teeing off on the on first day of the tournament. A quality person who will missed.

Yup, they were definitely getting info off my website back then; there were several other examples previously, like at the British Women's Open that Jiyai won. I guess mentioning 'Seoul Sisters' was a way to acknowledge that.
