Friday's score look like a classic Bell Curve from stat class with 16 strokes separating first from last ... the surprise is who is at the start of the curve.

It was great that I didn't have to scan too far down the Leaderboard. Great start for Yui Kawamoto minus five and good start for Kotone Hori minus two.

Apparently Shin Ae Ahn is looking for her first back-to-back cuts made in four years.

Sharon is -3 after nine holes on Saturday ... with the projected cut at -1, I like her chances of making it.
However, the big story is the puddling-jumping bookworm tearing off five birdies on her first nine holes ... three shots off the lead and there are only two "monster" players in the top-12 (Yamashita and Ueda).

Great round by Shin Ae-Ahn of minus five to move up the Leader Board. Yui Kawamoto only minus one, still in top ten

Fantastic story line for Sharon especially. She hasn't even made two straight cuts in years, let alone been in contention. OK, she has next to no chance to win this given how far ahead the leader is, but if she can just hang on for a top ten it would be amazing. Add Ga Eun into the mix and it's extra special.
Hwaiting!

Looks like the Tournament has been shortened to thirty-six holes. Good news for Yui Kawamoto solo ninth, Shin Ae Ahn and Ga Eun Song in a tenth-place tie. Bad news for all the players at minus one, cut is minus two. Yui picked up a needed forty-four points, good things can happen when you make cuts.

Why does the winner wear a face mask on the course. It’s such a crap look.

Why does the winner wear a face mask on the course. It’s such a crap look. I hate the mask look. Looking back on old pics, she has worn one occasionally during the months of March and April, so I'm guessing hay fever is the reason.
A few players were out on the course early Sunday, such as Hori Two (-3) and Hana Lee (-4) ....
... until Round Three was washed out.
