The teams are set ... ROK should win with Soomin Oh, Shi Hyun Kim and Baby Shinster ... India is NOT sending Avani Prashanth, who was low medalist by ten strokes last year.

I went to the KGA website ... nada, nothing, zip, zilch on this event ... which has already started.
The JGA website has a big article with pics.

I wish I could watch this!
Hyo Song Lee had an ace. Soomin is making a move. At this point, the Aussie is still tied for the lead with Soomin and Lee one back. The Korean team has carved out a three-shot lead at the moment. Exciting stuff!

What a month for Soomin Oh. She only qualified for the national team three months ago. In that time she nearly won a KLPGA event and won individual honors at the Sirikit Cup while leading her team to the win there. And now she probably has to take a break from golf to study for her 9th grade algebra exam. What a talent! Let's not forget Hyo Song Lee. Also 15, she came close to winning the Asia Pacific Amateur last month, and now a third place at the Sirikit. I don't know much about Jihyun Kim, but I do know that she finished 4th here. If she's what qualifies for a scrub for the Korean team, they are in fantastic shape. Sisters hwaiting! Check out the goofy victory dance video: https://www.instagram.com/p/C42fMeIPsdJ
