Round 2: Jenny Shin shot a 67 but dropped to a tie for second. Kazuma Korbori, who won the last two Webex events, is once again in the lead after a 64; he has a one shot lead.
Yeah, the scoring is ridiculously low. The cut is looking like 5 under. Min A Yoon shot a 65 and so finished at 6 under and will make the cut. She's tied 40th. But Cecilia Cho will miss the cut; she shot a 69 today and is at 2 under total.

JTibs, slumlord of the year ... I don't think the SS Feng was ever this big a favorite when she did her off-road rambling.
I'm about 98% sure that the guy on Shin's bag is NOT the guy I saw with her at the 2021 Cognizant.
She mentioned getting an online swing correction from her coach Jorge Parada in her Feb. 1 IG posting. Don't know how long she's been with him, but he's a big shot at Liberty National GC. I seem to remember her saying that she had an instructor in Korea about five-plus years ago. That's about all I know regarding her coaching history.

Round 3: Four-way tie at 18 under, including Jenny. Sounds like it was an intense round for her; Hurricane Jenny nearly helicoptered her putter after one hole. Good luck to her boyfriend/caddie! Here are the details.https://www.instagram.com/p/C3Ka8MCPI3i Ashley Lau is at 10 under, 8 back, and Min A Yoon at 8 under. Both are having all right weeks, but if a woman is going to win this week it will be Jenny or no one.

Yoon needs to give the double bird to the KLPGA. Come to the USA & enjoy life. Every other Korean Prime Minister ends up in prison. Get away from the nonsense.

Jenny was cruising along, in a pitched battle with Kobori, the guy who has won the last two events he played on this tour and who seems to never make a significant mistake. Then she made double and a bogey and that pretty much did it. It's not over but I can't see her making up the two shots at this point.
Bummer, but she at least will be the low woman by quite a lot, so that will hopefully give her a warm and fuzzy feeling going into the LPGA season.
Hwaiting!

Shin's Instagram post was heartfelt. She ending by writing Sydney is a dump compared to Melbourne. The truth always hurts.

This week there was a two round pro-am, and the winner was Jeongmin Cecilia Cho. Congrats to her! It's been a while since she claimed a victory. She grabbed a six-shot win over Elmay Viking from the Cook Islands, which was a lot of fun to type. ResultsHere's the article
