Bo Mee Lee will face a stronger field (including T. Lu, Sky Kim, & JY Shin) compared to last week. They tee off Friday and SBS Golf will carry 90 minutes per day at 5 PM local time.

I don't know...maybe she's practicing her Japanese. She's skipping Portland. Her schedule is similar to Laura Davies', who plays mostly on the LPGA, but also plays a lot of events on the smaller tours.
BTW, they're playing at Sapporo Kokusai CC, about 20 Km SE of downtown Sapporo. This must be a resort area...over a dozen golf courses in the area. I guess it's comfortably warm that far north...79F and 73F are the highs for the Sat. and Sun. forecasts.

It is so completely shocking how a chubby SS Feng can be a world top 10 female pro. Completely wrong message to send to boys and girls. Shanshan Feng is top 10 player because her technique is far superior to others. She's a role model. Doesn't matter at all how many extra pounds a boy or girl has on him or her. 5 pounds, 10 pounds, 15, 20, 30. Doesn't matter. They're not looking to raise boners on a week to week basis. They're out there to make history as athletes, as women who get treated like shit compared to men. |
