Hyun Jo Yoo is probably the rookie with the most potential in next year's rookie class. She ticks many of the boxes: long hitter, young, excellent record as an amateur, etc.
But one thing I question is her record in pro events. So far she hasn't really excelled that much when she's played KLPGA events. Her best was a t-14 at the KB Star, but in five tries she missed three cuts.
She does say in the article that her success at the Asian Games really took her to another level, and that was after most of her KLPGA starts, so again, the potential is there. Will be fun to see what she can do!
I do like her attitude. She seems like one of those gals who is smiling in a lot of the photos. We can always use another happy-seeming golfer out there!
