I've found a couple of posed shots for players that were obviously shot this week. Does anyone know where I can find the complete set? I'm guessing that they shot most or maybe even all of the participants this week in this manner. Hyo Joon Jang and Mao Saigo Found one for Jin Hee Im here, too, but can't figure out how to post the linkI looked on AFP, but I couldn't find any of the photos there.

The player on the right (previous post) is Soobin Joo, not Chairwoman Mao.
All the players portraits are in Getty ... query by LPGA Q-school in the sports section.

Thanks, I looked there but I'll try again, I might have missed it somehow... re: Mao, that's how the Korean website identified her. Guess I don't know Soo Bin Joo that well! [EDIT]: D'oh! It's under Q-school but not q-series. Thanks!

It's usually the top-20 plus ties that get the best priority out of this, right? If so, all the big name Korean and Japanese invaders are right on track after Round One, except for Jung Min Hong.
*******
Yuri Yoshida would be a nice addition to the 2024 scenery at Lancaster ... I think that's Ivan Galdame on the right ... don't know the guy on the left.
******
The candy a$$ management of the LPGA decided to put a blank flag next to the name of Nataliya Guseva (T-13 and born in Moscow) on the online scoreboard. Is she another Mata Hari? Or Putin's main squeeze on the side? Is she a paratrooper on weekends? So, if she wins at Evian, will the guy jump out of the airplane with a white flag?! What did this 20-year-old do to anyone?

Round 1 was a good start for the KLPGAers and a few other Sisters. So Mi actually was 4 under at the turn but wasn't able to make any more ground up. Jin Hee Im and Yu Jin Sung just a shot behind her, with Hyo Joon Jang also tied at 3 under. Not as good a start for Jung Min Hong, but +1 still leaves her just 7 out of the lead. Plenty of rounds to go. Hwaiting! I guess Japan's TV Wowow is here for the duration to cover the Big Three (Chairwoman Mao, Yuri Yoshida and Baba-chan). The link below is a sample with two Yuri Yoshida videos (best shots and an interview) -

So Mi Lee 65, solo first. That's what I'm talking about! Great job by her today. Hyo Joon Jang also had a great day, a 66, and Yu Jin Sung is tied for ninth after a 68. Jin Hee Im is also in the top 20, although she only managed a 69 today, and Jung Min Hong made a slight move as well into a tie for 44th. KLPGA Sisters hwaiting!! Also shout out to Jennifer Song (and her excellent caddie Amy Yang) and Yealimi Noh, both of whom are in the top ten. Notables: 1 So Mi Lee FC -10 68-65 133 T2 Jennifer Song FC -9 69-65 134 - Mina Harigae FC -9 68-66 134 T4 Hyo Joon Jang FC -8 69-66 135 T9 Yealimi Noh FC -7 70-66 136 T9 Yu Jin Sung FC -7 68-68 136 T9 Trichat Cheenglab FC -7 67-69 136 - Yuri Yoshida FC -7 67-69 136 T15 Robyn Choi FC -6 69-68 137 T15 Jin Hee Im FC -6 68-69 137 T36 Karen Chung FC -3 71-69 140 T44 Jung Min Hong FC -2 72-69 141 T52 Jeongeun Lee5 CC -1 72-70 142 - Haeji Kang CC -1 71-71 142 - Bi Shin CC -1 71-71 142 T67 Min A Yoon CC Even 72-71 143 - Saki Baba CC Even 69-74 143 T95 Soo Bin Joo CC +3 74-72 146 If So Mi keeps it up and gets that card, this is a preview of what the LPGA will be in for:

Chungchungkar (-3, T-36) played good golf for two rounds, but I'm not optimistic about her cracking the top-20 by the end ... hope she proves me wrong.
Her looper looks a lot like Sir Nick, who was with MHL for the second half of 2023.
