Runs Tuesday Nov. 28 thru Friday Dec. 1. No official YouTube video coverage like they did at the Pro Test.
An article has a nice Google mush summary on who is qualifying and what is at stake -
A total of 104 people participated in this tournament, including those who lost their seeding rights, Mercedes rankings 56th to 70th, winners of the lower Step Up Tour, those who passed the Pro Test in first place, and those who advanced from the first QT. If things go as usual, players who finish around 35th in this QT will be able to play in almost all games in the first half of next season.
Also, the ranking tie-breaker will be the better fourth round score.
Going by memory, here are the past big tour winners in the field: Hikari Fujita, Yumiko Yoshida, Na Ri Lee, Mamiko Higa, Rumi Yoshiba, Kana Mikashima, Hina (The Face) Arakaki, Pei Ying Tsai, Kumiko Kaneda, Sakura Yokomine, Yui Kawamoto, Miki Sakai, Mayu Hattori, Ayaka Watanabe, Maiko Wakabayashi, Eri Okayama, Ji Hee Lee and Momoko Osato.

The JLPGA hasn't posted the finals scores yet, but golf valedictorian Ga Eun Song (-9) finished first in her class. Sharon finished 15th and Ji Hee Lee was 24th, so they're safe for the first half of 2024.

Per the article above, Sharon's 17th place finish is good enough to get her into the Daikin Orchid opener in March. She also says she will try to strike a balance with the Korean tour. Huh?! She has no status on the KLPGA, unless she expects to get a lot of freebies. She doesn't have a Rolex ranking! From the media, nothing has changed ... Google mush of the article's last sentence: On this day, the "Sexy Queen" who played in body-fitting black wear will be celebrating the year 2024.
*******
On the other hand, the article above has this line:
Having just successfully completed the QT, there is still no outlook on next season's schedule and no goals have been set. She plans to return to South Korea and think about it carefully once she has calmed down.
That makes more sense to me. In fact, she should forget about the KLPGA ... generally speaking, that tour is not kind to 30-something players.
In 41st place, Team Yokomine is up against Mother and Father Time.
Uh oh, 50th place for Na Ri Lee
I guess it's the scrub tour in 2024 for Hikari Fujita (#67) and Kumiko Kaneda (#51)
*********
The JLPGA didn't waste time setting Ga Eun Song's profile on the website:
It says her coach is Robyn Simes, so she must have some knowledge of "Golf English".
*********
Latest JLPGA article above on Ga Eun Song ... has these Google mush paragraphs on her future plans:
His 23rd birthday will be on the 5th of this month. His challenge to the JLPGA Tour was made possible out of his own strong desire. "I want to play on tours around the world. It's been my dream since before I became a professional. Especially in Japan, there are games on Korai greens. I'm good at Korai greens, so I'm really looking forward to playing on the JLPGA Tour." I'm already looking forward to the 24th season.
``I think the Daikin Orchid Ladies (Koma Green) will be at 120% for the opening round,'' she continued. However, he plans to participate in both the Korean and Japanese tours next season.
``I have to discuss my schedule with my sponsors and other parties. It has not been decided yet how many games I will be able to play in Japan. If I get the chance, I plan to play as many as possible.'' He also serves as a public relations ambassador on the KLPGA Tour and is one of the most promising young players.

Congrats to Ga Eun! I wonder if maybe her 'split time on the tours' talk was a little bit of pre-event face-saving in the event she didn't get a good result. Now that she won the fricking thing (that's it, right? There are no more qualifying tournaments she needs to play? ), it makes zero sense for her to try to split her time. Sharon and Ji Hee did fantastically for three rounds then nearly blew it. A little flop sweat, but they both made it. Now the hard part: are they going to be remotely competitive? We shall see...

https://www.instagram.com/p/C0Ti6JkPzFp Yui Kawamoto fourth place finish, she says that I've grown a lot the last year. She did play great her last three Tournaments on the JLPGA Step-Up Tour. Now she needs to carry that great play to the first half of the main Tour. To improve her Statius the second, halve on the Tour .
