The season ending tournament on the Ladies European Tour is underway in southern Spain. A couple of the big beasts from the LPGA have come to play and currently the cream has risen to the top. Linn Grant shot -7 and is leading after round 1 with Celine Boutier on -5 in T3.

The cream you speak of was no where near the top in April when she played two KLPGA tour events.
Maybe the KLPGA quality shocked her into playing better.

It probably did and made her battle hardened for when the US finally let her in and she went on to win the Dana Open. The point I was making was when the European LPGA stars turn up for a LET event they seem to do very well whereas LPGA stars in Korean or Japanese events find it harder. Basically KPLGA and JLPGA are tougher comps than LET. LET still have a few players who prefer the buffet to the gym!

I never heard of Trichat Cheenglab before, but she got herself into the LPGA Q-series this week.
*******
I took a look at today's new Rolex Rankings ... stumbled over AVD at the #71 position, WTH?! How did that happen? Well, I clicked on her name and it shows that she has four top-threes and one top-11 in her last six starts ... all on the LET. There's your reason ... it also shows her last trunk slam was at ISPS Handa when the lower-level LPGAers showed up. Well, she knows her limitations ... I saw her in person at two events where she put a world of hurt into the back of a golf ball, but still couldn't keep her card on the LPGA.
*******
Speaking of Rolex, if they did Olympic qualifying from today's rankings, The Shinster at #15 would make Team ROK as its third and final player.
