Starts Friday for a field of 108 ... top-50 plus ties make the cut. Bo Mee Lee (5-for-5 in trunk slams this year) will resume her retirement tour this week and Momoka Miura (now a teaching pro) will play Japan's big tour for the first time since 2019. Weekend TV (Japan time) -

In other news, another site of stage two q-school was completed at Shizu Hills CC this week and 32 more players at +6 or better will advance to the final stage. They include Babe Liu, whose main claim to fame is being Dumbo's buddy at one of Dr. Won Park's boot camps. Another player advancing is Yang Ayon (per Google mush), who will be known as Iron Yang from now on ... I'm guessing this is the same person on the KLPGA roster:
Hinano Muguruma (#21 on WAGR) also advanced, but almost gagged it away, 72-69-69-83.

Great round of sixty-six by Kotone Hori to get in a tie for sixth place so far.
Yui Kawamoto minus one after the first round of sixty nine, needs a good round tomorrow.
