14-14. Fitting result. The sole Spanish player saved the day for Europe in Spain. The script writes itself

I am definitely not a night owl so I catch only most of the afternoon action. Happy to see Angel Yin contribute to getting the single point the US scrounged up. Europe was lights out with their putting prowess. Not only did Angel keep the USA from falling behind on Saturday afternoon, but she defeated CME #1 Boutier on Sunday. Angel was 2-1 for the weekend and only Ciganda stopped her on Friday. The announcers pointed out that Megan Khang was unbeaten over the weekend, 3.5-0.5. She (and Lexi) even beat Maguire (and Nordqvist) on Saturday morning. And then Lexi... I was among the many who initially questioned why Stacy had picked her. Well, Lexi went 3-1 (two of the wins paired with Megan) with her only loss (paired with Lilia Vu) to Maguire (and Hall). A tie, they say, is like kissing your sister... But it was a great tournament and congrats again to the Europeans for retaining the Cup. Ok, now it's back to the real world where everyone gets to compete not just golfers who happen to represent countries where the game traditionally was played... Goodbye, Andalusia... Hello, Arkansas!

I love the fact Americans on Twitter have no idea what a tie means. They should come and watch a cricket match for 5 days which can still end in a draw!!! It was a great tournament, got some decent UK TV coverage and all the Europeans ended up in the swimming pool afterwards. Some wag said it was the most Charley contributed all weekend. Anyway there's a Solheim next year in 2024 but now it's back to LPGA and it will be interesting to see if the Koreans have enjoyed their holidays and are going to bring their A game to the final weeks of the season.
