Everybody wants in on this one with a total purse of ¥200,000,000 ... field of 132, top-60 plus ties make the cut. They're playing at Passage Kinkai Island GC (6755 yards) in Nagasaki which is ranked #35 in Japan by the Top-100 golf course website.

Excerpt from the above article on the course setup:
This year's venue is Nagasaki Passage Kinkai Island GC, which will be held for the second time since the 2015 tournament. Ayako Okamoto was in charge of course setting, and Teresa Lu (Taiwan) won the 2015 tournament with a winning score of 7 under par and a cut line of 6 over.
Eight years have passed since the last event. This year, the 4th (par 4) was extended by 20 yards in consideration of the overall improvement in the distance of the players, but the other 17 holes will be held at the same yardage as 2015. Also, the fairway width was 20 to 25 yd last time, but this year's average is 30 yd, which is a little wider. The length of the rough was 120mm last time, but this year it was cut to 60-70mm.

You can't call a green a green if it's not green. The putting surfaces here were browns. Maybe they use a different type of grass.

Sora Kamiya bolted out of the gate and was never caught. We also have a horse race for ROY ... Kamiya and her two wins closed the gap on Kokona Sakaurai and her three wins. What they have in common is driving distance ... Kamiya is #1 on tour and Sakurai is #3.
