Starts Thursday for a field of 120 ... top-60 plus ties make the cut. The Shinster is back in action and Baba-chan(a) is also playing. One of the washouts who got in was Kotono Kozuma ... three-for-three in trunk slams on the big tour this year, but made the cut in three of four scrub tour events, picking up a cool ¥259,000 ... or about $1,777 USD. Her brother Jinichiro Kozuma is still in the game ... looks like he quit or got dumped by LIV Golf, because he has played a full schedule in Japan this year ... 6th in driving distance at 305, but needs help everywhere else. He also played the 2023 Kolon Korea Open.

The Shinster showed up this week and was confused when people were congratulating her for being Number One. She was unaware that the JLPGA issued Mercedes Points for participation in overseas Majors ... thanks to nailing the USWO and the AIG WO, she has a small lead over Yamashita for #1.

Yui Kawamoto made birdies on seventeen and eighteen to make the cut on the number. Every cut made means she pick up points which helps.

After a couple of weather delays, they decided to wipe out Round Four and sent three players out in a playoff, which started and ended at the par-3 17th hole:
Erika Kikuchi, Akie Iwai and The Shinster
The result:
Career win #6
The prize money was cut, but not the prizes.
Baba-chan was low am
Sunday was only exercise for Erika Hara, but she's still 4-for-4 in cuts made since coming back from her hip/back medical procedure. I don't know if she stills plans to try LPGA q-school this year, or put it off for another year.

Yui Kawamoto wasn't able to pick up many points 2.63 but better than none I guess. She has something in common with Lydia Ko after Lydia second round they both were dead last.
