Come on, even I can see that she's taller than, say, Nasa Hataoka! I believe in the correctness of her wikipedia entry which reads 5 ft 5 in, or for her French supporters, 1.65 m. I also learned from her wikipedia page that there should be an accent mark on the first letter E, Céline (not Celine) which I should have remembered from my high school French 50 years ago... I do remember that the accent mark makes the correct pronunciation "Say-LEAN" not "SUH-Lean" as everyone says it.

MHL plugging along, moved up two spots to #90 on CME.  She had an interesting partner Sunday in Pauline Roussin ... not 100% sure, but I don't think their paths ever crossed at Cobblestone Park. The French Gamecock enrolled at South Carolina in the fall of 2019, but I think MHL had already moved to Texas by then. I wanted to see Roussin's game at the 2021 USWA, but did not as she turned pro the same month ... reached #1 on WAGR (January 2020). |

Very serious, full of determination. I was surprised to see her smiling with those two guys. Last year when Brooke won, she looked totally shocked and uncomfortable with their action. I still maintain that Ciganda would deck the guys if she ever won! What would they do, retract her prize money? |

No telling how many more Tournaments Minjee Lee could have won if she putted average. She missed three greens today scored four over par because of thirty eight putts. However she can go on streaks when she makes everything. Minjee only comes from behind to win when a Korean is in the lead. So of course this week she didn't bring it.  Didn't watch any of the coverage this week (other than a few highlights); in my defense, I've been on vacation. Nice that A Lim had a good week, even if, as usually happens, when a Sister plays well there's always someone who runs away with the tournament so she still has no chance. Ah well, at least she made some money this week! |

Celine2 is a woman of few words. Not only -- as she previously revealed -- does she want her caddy to "just carry the bag," but in this 90 second interview she reveals that she wants her playing partners to just keep their mouths shut.
Q: "Was there any advice you heard from other players?"
A: "Not really. I didn't talk to anyone."
Imagine for one second how a Korean would be treated if she said that. |
