The ladies are off to Scotland for this year's fourth major. Because of the time difference your Top 12 along with three alternates needs to be in place no later than 0530GMT/1:30amEDT Thursday 30 July/10:30pmPDT Wednesday 29 July. At this time neither the LET nor the LPGA websites have a final field list, so what follows came off the event website pending the completion of the Final Qualifying round on Monday. Good luck!ricohwomensbritishopen.com/scoring/?report=entryKevin EDIT: The LPGA website now has the Final Field list up.

I have no idea who's going to handle four days of Turnberry. I expect wildly divergent weather. Why not the newest prodigy?

Once again real life intervenes, making this summary brief as I couldn't do any scoring until today. I therefore decided just to post the final standings for the week, but first a look at who all of our nineteen contestants selected:[/b] missed the cut or withdrew. 19: Stacy Lewis, Inbee Park (1st) 18: So Yeon Ryu (T3) 16: In Gee Chun, Lydia Ko (T3) 15: Hyo Joo Kim, Suzann Pettersen (5th) 13: Shanshan Feng 12: Lexi Thompson 7: Brooke Henderson, Charley Hull, Sei Young Kim6: Anna Nordqvist (T7) 5: Brittany Lang, Karrie Webb4: Catriona Matthew, Azahara Munoz, Amy Yang 3: Q Baek, Na Yeon Choi, Brittany Lincicome, Morgan Pressel, Angela Stanford 2: Ha Na Jang, Teresa Lu (6th), Mo Martin, Lizette Salas, Michelle Wie1: Rebecca Artis, Paula Creamer, Julieta Granada, Cristie Kerr, Ilhee Lee, Mi Hyang Lee, Minjee Lee (T9), Pernilla Linberg, Shiho Oyama, Hee Young Park, Sakura Yokomine[/ul] As you can see, Inbee Park, So Yeon Ryu, Suzann Pattersen and Anna Nordqvist finished 1st, T3, 5th and T7 respectively. A pretty odd combination, you might say. Well guess how ghinhee picked them? 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th (he picked the other T3, Lydia Ko, in his #9 spot). That lethal combination gives him the win this week.
The 404 report this week is dedicated to both cannuck and shung, who forgot that there were two Kos and two Ryus in the field this week. I relented in counting their selections as Lydia and So Yeon respectively given how high they placed them on their cards. JLPGA regular Ritsuko Ryu missed the cut by a country mile but who could have predicted Jin Young Ko's rise to near greatness. Given name as well as surname, people: the committee is not comprised of mind readers, after all.
Does the Saint not want to win any more? He left So Yeon, Lydia and Tutta off his card this week and not even being alone in tabbing Minjee saved him from this week's wooden spoon. At least Yani Tseng contends once in a while these days after falling so far from her world beater pace, but the Saint? We've seen this swoon before and it's never pretty. The Tour has the week off before returning to North America with the Portland Classic and Elf's turn in the scoring rotation. Take care, everyone!Kevin
