It's not a major, but it played out like one last year with only six players breaking par. The field of 144 is gunning for ¥300,000,000 starting Thursday ... top-70 plus ties make the cut. Chairwoman Mao is skipping this one for the second straight year to play KPMG/PGA. None of my usual streaming links are available for this one ... the event website might be showing it, but I'm guess it will be geo-blocked ... we'll find out later.

Great win by Jiyai Shin, she is amazing.
I hope this is a fresh start for Yui Kawamoto an even par round and although they weren't very low three under par rounds.
Kudos to Momoko still competing at a high level.
