I think this one is hard one to call, well if either of these three won it I would be happy, = Janet Lin, Chella Choi, Pornanong Phatlum, that's my call.

Tony Feng won in 2013...not 2014.

Lewis is playing to make up for her blunders in 2013....hopefully the Chinese are kind and don't yell...."BABY BOK CHOY" (mashed potatoes are not common in China) in Stacy's back swing.

Not a great start for most of the top Sisters, but there's still time for So Yeon, MJ, Inky and NYC to get back on track. It will be interesting to see if any of the second and third tier Sisters who are near the lead after round 1 can keep it up. Jenny Shin has had a surprisingly strong season, maybe it's her time to challenge for a win? It was a fine start for Inbee. Only three shots back, here's hoping she can strike some fear into Lewis in round two. Fighting!

Did I hear it right? Hmmmmm....so the Dragon Lady's knife remains sharp.....Tina has cut loose another caddie, Greg Johnson. Jason Hamilton (Yani's previous loop) will be on Lydia's bag starting next week.
I have no idea why any of the top loops would want to put up with Tina's wrath?
Rumor.......Leona Helmsley has reached out to Tina for mentoring.

Not a great day 2 for the Koreans. Most of those second tier ladies who were near the top of the leaderboard struggled, and few of the bigger stars made a move. Things are looking awfully good for Lewis right now, but hopefully a few of those many strong Sisters hovering around 5 or 6 under can make a move. I'm hoping especially to see Inbee and So Yeon make things a little more interesting.
And of course, Mirim Lee, who had a very good day on Friday to put herself in the hunt. Length seems like a useful asset on this course, so here's hoping she can have a great Moving Day. That might help Amy Yang as well.
Fighting!!!

Round 3 was a lot more fun to watch than round 2, mainly because Lewis struggled, allowing a bunch of players I like to move up the leaderboard. Alas, Lewis still managed to make a run at the end, but it could have been a lot worse. The biggest bummer is that, after putting herself into the lead, Mirim Lee played the final four holes at just even par. She had some close misses today, and needs to tighten that up tomorrow, but she's still in the final group and just two shots back. Loved watching her outdrive Hedwall last night; I'm rooting for her big time on Sunday. Go Mirim! Inbee also made a nice run to put herself three back. She's in great position if she can get going early. Time for an early wedding present, Inbee! The round of the day goes to MJ Hur. So nice to see her have a great round again! 6 under par 67, wooooo! At five back, she, Chella and So Yeon are probably too far back, but you never know. Go get 'em, ladies! Go Sisters!!! Hwaiting!!!!

Some good play by most of the sisters, even Rocket tried to climb up the Leader Board. However Chella's dad may be carrying her bag a long time. Got to ten under, hit a poor chip, missed short putt and the next hole turned a birdie putt into a bogie. Lewis did not play well the first two days, just made every putt.

A lot of pros in the mix for the final rd...yes Lewis might be the fav....but it's not a given.....don't be shocked to see a surprise winner holding the trophy. I like Inbee playing in the penultimate group to post a score early...she needs a hot putter. Hey....I saw that Inbee and many other pros were wearing red...to honor China? .....Inbee had red pants vs. her standard white pants. Hopefully Shanshan took Inbee out for a really nice dinner like she did last year to bring Inbee some luck. The galleries seems smaller than last year...maybe the curiosity has worn off....the WTA is also playing concurrently.

Kudos to Mirim!!
Yes...it's refreshing to see a Korean swash buckling, who has length and plays aggressive vs. the classic robotic Korean course management. Seems like she comes out of her swing often.
For those that watched the Big Break Invitational.....when Mirim came to 17...I thought don't pull a Emily Talley.....sure enough...a nervous poor swing....I thought Mirim was going to double bogey like Emily.....and lose the event.
Mirim has been living a good clean life and the Golf Gods rewarded her on 17.....what a putt. She also didn't lay-up on 18 neither....luv it.....played a classy long bunker shot with water past the pin and then stuffed an 8 foot putt to win in style.
WTF.....a 6+ hour round...that's pathetic for professional golfers....brutal...just brutal. I've played double shot gun scrambles faster than that.
I really like Lang....but I don't see her winning another event. Great ball striker but lousy short game and putting.....I don't think she handles her nerves well when she's in contention. Over thinks too often. Brit had 34 putts...she should have been right there for the trophy coming down 18.
Has anyone checked Stacy's twitter account to see: "I had another tournament stolen from me due to a lousy shot saved by another Beijing rock" ........lol.

Yea and congratulation to Mirim, for her win. I got a little concerned when she made bogy on twelve, but like her last win she came home in style. Also kudos to Inbee for passing Lewis and also Mi Hang, Ihee and Chella for top tens. I guess So Yeon's ball flight not does not work on windy days.
