Jordan Spieth and Jason Day were unofficially warned TWICE at the Open Championship. There were never even put on the clock, and they were a hole and a half behind. Everyone plays really slow on Tour. If you can't keep up with THAT pace of play, then there is seriously something wrong.

Nice first round for Q Baek again. Inbee and Ha Na seemed to be playing well during the broadcast, but their end results did not bear that out. So far, other than Il Hee and Q, not a lot of Seoul Sisters action on the leaderboard.

Ok you Alison Lee fanboys......she's tied for the lead and in the last group tomorrow.
So far not a great event for the 'real' Koreans....it's near impossible for Q Baek to fend off all the Mericans surrounding her.

Abbott talking about JYO's slow play penalty said slow play is like bad breath.
No one will admit it and no one will call them on it...too funny.

Q Baek has placed herself quite nicely into the penultimate group tomorrow. Here's hoping we get to see her hit some shots!! Great to see her contending again. Keep it up!
Inbee had a decent day today, and she and So Yeon are both at 4 under, five back. Certainly still in it with two rounds to go.
Alison Lee could earn a Solheim Cup nod with a good weekend here.
Minjee Lee is also lurking, as is Min Seo Kwak, who does manage to appear on leaderboards now and again.

The problem with these kind of setups is that you can shoot a great round and not make up all that much ground. So, it was a very good day for three Sisters, but they are still quite a bit back of the leaders.
Inbee shot a 66, So Yeon a 65, and HYP a 65 as well, and they all lost ground to Salas, who shot a 64.
Meanwhile, Q Baek did not have a great day, but she still went under par and is in the top ten.
Good luck tomorrow, Sisters!!!! HWAITING!

The reason why they didn't make up ground is Salas also blistered the course with a flawless bogey free round.....nice logic...lol. It's not just Salas . There were a lot of low rounds near the top of the leaderboard. Hey look, sometimes the Sisters take advantage on these kid of courses, too. Just not this week (at least so far!).  Go Sisters!!! |
