The 2023 Promotional models have been announced. This is the 15th year where they have chosen a group of 10 - 12 players to represent the tour in photo shoots and other promotional capacities.
The twelve are:
Min Ji Park
Gyeol Park
Hyun Kyung Park
Ga Young Lee
So Mi Lee
Yewon Lee
Chae Eun Lee 2
Hee Jeong Lim
Ha Na Jang
Uree Jun
Ayean Cho
Ye Rim Choi
I'm somewhat surprised by some of these choices. Uree Jun is very obscure. No Su Ji Kim. Da Been Heo, Jae Hee Kim and Jee Hyun Ahn, all of whom made it last year and are popular, were passed over. No one named Kim. They went with Chae Eun Lee over Hyo Ju You, So Hyeon Ahn, Jeong Mee Hwang or Han Sol Ji.
Ayean, Hyun Kyung and Hee Jeong lead the Swing Girls with their fourth straight selections (they were not eligible as rookies, so all have made it every year they could). So Mi makes it three straight, Ga Young two in a row. Ha Na has the most selections of these gals; this is her eighth (non-consecutive) selection.
