A new tournament pairing 16 players from the LPGA and PGA has been announced.
Sounds like this will be the spiritual descendant of the old JC Penney Classic, which was last played in 1999. So, who knows how many top PGA players will actually show up, although I think at one point Tiger played the JC Penney teamed with fellow Nike player Kelli Kuehne (remember her?). So you never know.
It looks like it will be one guy-one woman teams. In 1999, Se Ri was the only Korean in the field. I suspect we'll get a couple this time, if only to entice Tom Kim and company to show up.
