Somebody on this forum forgot to post the news that the USC Trojans got their bell rung by UCLA ... it was one point per match and UCLA won 8.5 out of 12.

Amari the Lioness did her job as the only Trojan going undefeated ... you'll stop hating ANWA if when she wins it.
Meanwhile, Cyndi Kou got dumped twice. I thought she was going to be really good coming out of the gate at USC, but it's taking her some time to get going. I observed her at the 2021 USWA ... had an independent look to her ... no coach, no parents, no buddies, no school logos, just pushed her own bag ... a career of battlle scars from junior golf and she probably did her own travel arrangements! Then I looked up her college stats today ... 73.90 scoring average in 2021-22, which is not so hot ... but is going in the right direction with 72.50 during the fall of 2022.

To me the ANWA is a PR stunt because they never cared about Ladies golf or Ladies golfers.
If they did why did they pick a date that hurt the LPGA oldest Major, the Dinah Shore.
Not to mention it took some of the best Amateurs from the Tournament.
Now our favorite Tournament to go to has gone to Texas, more reason to not care about the ANWA.

KLPGA Rookie-to-be Min Byeol Kim has thrown down the gauntlet. Training in Thailand, she has stated that her goal this year is to finish in the top ten in every tournament she plays. She isn't messing around, is she? (OK, it's possible she means that she will try to do that but isn't expecting to do that, but it is open to interpretation!)   |
