This article claims that the attempts to include some KLPGA events in the AGLF (the Asian golf league that has added several new events to its schedule, notably the Simone Cup from last year which saw So Yeon and Bo Mee win the team event) is in trouble. KLPGA controversiesIt sounds like Chairman Kim Kyung Tae might be severely questioned for conflict of interest. Kim was the person who spearheaded the efforts to get the KLPGA involved with the Asian league. The understanding was that most of the events would not conflict with KLPGA events. But last year's Simone Cup took place during the High One Resort Open and the week before the Hanwha, one of the tour's Majors. This made it impossible for KLPGA stars to be at the Simone. Yet Chairman Kim was in Jakarta working on publicizing the event anyways. There is another rumor that the Celltrion Open, a KLPGA event, will become a AGLF event and be played in New Zealand this year. A KLPGA board meeting at the end of the month could get pretty lively and might end up in Kim's ouster.

I don't see any reason to "join" Asian Golf events since the KLPGA is already so awesome.
If they really want an Asian Tour it should be be like some champions league style event where the top players of the various tours Majors meet in some championship somewhere in January in some nice weather.
Hope this person is Ousted.
