Char Young Kim was one of the most popular players on the KLPGA from 2010 - 2020. She lost her card in 2020 and claimed that she would return after taking a year off to rest, but she never returned in 2022. Nor did she ever make a retirement announcement or do the usual 'final appearances' that a player of her popularity would normally do.
