IMO.....to provide Se Ri with the respect and exposure she deserves. Maybe the Hana should change their tournament to The Se Ri Pak Invitational presented by KEB - Hana Bank.

Finally, you are making sense !! The "Hana Bank honouring Se Ri Pak" would be the crown jewel of the "Se Ri Swing" ( second Asian swing ) Back to reality though, Our Girl is already having bank sponsor conflict ( note all sings of KDB are missing this week, plain white hat )

But her playing partner Ha Na Jang shot a 70 to improve to even par overall, three back. Se Ri Pak finished day 2 at 6 over, making the cut on the nose. Another name to watch is Shi Hyun Ahn. The longtime veteran is only a shot back, seeking her first KLPGA win in many years. One more day! Scores: 1. Soo Jin Yang 69 -3 - Min Young Lee 2 70 -3 - Min Sun Kim 5 (R) 71 -3 4. I realize she's had a pretty rough go of it the past few years, so I don't want to be too critical, but after her rookie year, I always got the feeling that Shi Hyun Ahn didn't want to be out there. Not very engaging, sometimes moody, and not one of the players I personally liked watching the few times I came across her, at least in those days. Still, best of luck to her tomorrow... She could use something good happening to her!

My memory of Shi Hyun Ahn was always pleasant, in the early days. Later she was not in the picture, because she started to struggle. I guess if you like Si Re, you are supposed to not like Shi Ahn.

Here's some more fact based evidence of Yank racism against the Asians on the LPGA....this little gem was started yesterday on WRX.....lol. www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/1087451-why-are-asians-dominating-the-lpga/Huh....I didn't see Lee Westwood (UPS) go shirtless when he played in the Fedex playoffs.

Round 3: Min Young Lee Wins Three-Way PlayoffAt the start of the day, three players were tied for the lead: Min Sun Kim, Min Young Lee and Soo Jin Yang. Yang was the most accomplished of the three, and she struck first, taking a one shot lead on the front nine. But Yang bogied 9 and 11 and was never able to get back to 3 under again. The remaining two players were joined at three under by Hee Won Jung. Jung had trouble staying there, making several bogies on the back nine, but both times she made birdie to get back to the top. Min Young Lee remained at three under virtually the entire back nine. But rookie star Min Sun Kim moved to 4 under thanks to birdies on 12 and 13. She had her first win in sight, but a crushing bogey on the 17th knocked her back into a three way tie for the lead. And thus, Lee, Kim and Jung wound up in a playoff. It was Min Young Lee who ended up grabbing the win, her second of 2014. Min Sun Kim will have to wait til another day to break through. Char Young Kim shot a 70 but just missed out on the playoff. Ha Na Jang made a move to join the tie at the top, but a bogey on 17 ended her title hopes and she finished at 1 under. Kyu Jung Baek finished t-12th, In Gee Chun t-15th. Se Ri shot a 79 and finished tied for last. Congratulations to Min Young Lee! She got the trophy from the legend herself! Scores: 1. Min Young Lee 72 -3 *won in playoff 2. Hee Won Jung 71 -3 - Min Sun Kim 5 (R) 72 -3 4. Soo Jin Yang 73 -2 - So Yeon Park 67 -2 - Ran Hong 68 -2 - Char Young Kim 70 -2 Notables: 8. Ha Na Jang 71 -1 11. Shin Ae Ahn 72 Even 12. Kyu Jung Baek (R) 70 +2 15. Yoon Kyung Heo 71 +3 - In Gee Chun 73 +3 - Jin Young Ko (R) 75 +3 23. Shi Hyun Ahn 79 +5 34. Chae Young Yoon 78 +7 - Hye Youn Kim 76 +7 37. Kyeong Bae 74 +8 62. Se Ri Pak 79 +13

Happy Again thanks so much for the Sharon pics considering she's rarely in contention. I see So Yeon Park had a nice finish.

I think that pic of Se Ri and Shi Hyun (arm in arm, even) can hopefully put any of those bad-blood rumors to rest. Heh. Also, I finally got a transcript of the fan meeting Se Ri had, and a couple of interesting tidbits y'all might want to know: 1. She broke up about a year ago with her then-boyfriend, Tommy Kim, a businessman in LA. I knew about this already since Tommy's a golfing buddy of one of my best friends form high school, but thought you guys might like to know. So, she's single again...but stated of course she'd like to get married when the time is right. 2. As for the retirement question, she said she has no plans to retire yet, and one of her goals is to play for and represent South Korea at the 2016 Olympic Games in golf. That is quite a lofty goal indeed, and she probably got the inspiration from Karrie (who wants to do the same). My only concern is that she is not in good form, and she has a long way to go to get picked for the team (especially if they're going to use world rankings as qualifiers). I guess we just have to remember that it was just earlier this year that Se Ri almost won the Kraft and was contending pretty much every tournament for about a month...until her schedule got wonky, and then the injury bug hit again. I really think her showing the past couple of weeks is rust along with her not quite being 100%. I wish I could get her caddie (Roy Clarke) to answer some questions via twitter but so far he's been non-responsive.

She mentioned Tommy by name?? Or you connected the dots? If she makes the Olympic team she will also make the International Crown team. I think she will have to play a full schedule in 2015 to make that happen. Go easy on Roy, not disclosing info might be a request from The Queen ( ala Fluff and Tiger ) Everytime i hear "Roy Clarke" i think of this guy ( Roy Clark )
